Great work by Deputy Chief Patrica Mora who championed this event:
This year’s Woman’s Symposium was a success! Women in law enforcement came together for two days of empowerment, networking, and professional growth. Thanks to all who participated, our command staff, and City Manager Kimberly Bizor Tolbert! Together, we uplift and excel!

No Chief ever wants to receive the heartbreaking notification that one of their officers has fallen in the line of duty. My thoughts and prayers are with the Virginia Beach Police Department, Chief Neudigate, and the families of Officers Christopher Reese and Cameron Girvin.
Our hearts are heavy upon hearing of the Virginia Beach Police Department's tragic loss of Officers Christopher Reese and Cameron Girvin. We extend our deepest condolences to the #VBPD as they mourn the loss of two dedicated and faithful servants.

Our violent crime plan is in full throttle! Year after year violent crime is dropping throughout our great city! Check out yet another example of our officers keeping guns and drugs off our streets: wp.me/p43x0e-h6K
