DOERKSON TO REMAIN LEADER IF ELECTED PREMIER
The Board of Directors sets out the Party's position on its leadership should Interim Leader Lorne Doerkson become Premier.
When Mr. Doerkson leads the Party to victory on October 24, he will remain Leader. The Board will pursue the appropriate means under the Party's Constitution and Bylaws and the Societies Act to give effect to this intention.
A Premier chosen by British Columbians deserves the certainty of leading his party. This amendment will provide it.

This is probably the mic-drop response to Eby’s fire break Trump metaphor which I don’t think landed with any British Columbians who have been threatened by real life wildfires.
The first time most British Columbians would have ever seen @LDoerkson was when a news crew stumbled upon him, as a first-term MLA, in the middle of a wildfire pitching in to help folks facing the flames.

Asked about drug policy and treatment in the Downtown Eastside, BC Conservative leader Lorne Doerkson said the answer to addiction is “not free drugs.”
Doerkson called for greater investment in housing and treatment, but said he could not yet provide a cost for the party’s approach.
