If Republicans lose next month, there needs to be a serious conversation about the massive MAGA influencer accounts that spent months telling everyone everything was fine.
That Trump wasn’t losing support.
That voters were still firmly behind him.
That concerns about the economy, prices, and his decisions were not as important as crime and illegal immigration.
Last night, I spoke privately with two popular accounts that haven’t said this publicly.
Both told me they believe Trump has lost a significant amount of support.
Both are unhappy with some of what he’s been doing.
Six months ago, both were 100% all-in Trump loyalists.
So was I.
Meanwhile, some of the biggest paid MAGA influencers continue acting like everything is peachy.
But X isn’t real life.
People buying groceries don’t give a shit how many times you posted “TRUST TRUMP” today.
People filling their gas tanks don’t care how many 🔥 emojis your post got.
People working second jobs don’t care what some influencer with a massive account tells them they’re supposed to feel.
Next month, people are going to walk into voting booths carrying their own experiences with them.
Their grocery bills.
Their gas bills.
Their rent.
Their mortgage.
Their paycheck.
Their frustration.
You can spend months telling people everything is great.
But you can’t tell someone their wallet is lying to them.
