This mindset perfectly encapsulates the boomer mentality. They expect younger people to pay into a system that is destined to fail, all for their own benefit. If boomers spent this much energy selling their homes at more affordable prices to young families, giving employment opportunities to young men instead of women and H-1Bs, and using their power to make society stronger… Then we wouldn’t have the demographic crisis that will wipe out their precious Social Security. You had a lifetime to prepare for retirement. Some of us may never get that opportunity because of your generation’s selfishness.

I understand that the social security conversation is political poison. But I’m not running for office so I don’t care about that. Taking huge chunks out of the paychecks of young working Americans in order to pay for the retirements of older Americans who have a net worth several times higher, all to prop up a system that everyone knows likely won’t be there when those younger people are retirement age themselves, is morally abhorrent and economically insane. Everyone knows it, too, but we’re held hostage by elderly politicians who refuse to surrender power, and older voters who, as a group (with exceptions, obviously), simply don’t care all that much about the financial and cultural future their grandchildren will inherit.

Remember this chart every time someone says men have changed and have become undateable.

Future message to my kids: Me and your Mom are in fact free childcare for our grandkids. Good grandparents show up for their kids and grandkids. It’s a blessing, not a burden. It’s our job to show up and make life easier. Go on that date with your spouse. Go get that hour to yourself. Go get those errands run. Go take that nap you need. We got you. We didn’t have that help but you will. Always and forever, because that’s how it should be.

Anyone who feels this way can’t do simple math. No one my age thinks we’re going to get social security. We all know we’re paying for a socialist program destined to run out of money long before we get to retirement age. Not only should our taxes NOT be raised, but we should be able to opt out entirely AND our taxes should be cut. I’d have far more saved for retirement by investing all the money that I’ve paid into social security. It’s criminal that I’m forced to pay into something that I’ll never get unless I ask my kid’s generation to go into crippling debt to pay for my retirement. The whole thing fails unless you get a new group of people to pay for the previous group. And by the way, that’s the definition of a Ponzi scheme. I’d go to jail if I ran an investment fund like that. No thanks. Also, I know many boomers who agree with me. I don’t believe this poll is accurate.

Most women are extremely cruel to non chad men who dare to show romantic interest in them. Dating apps are just humiliation centers for non chad men.

There are a lot of great Boomers out there. But they didn't build this country into a superpower. They brought us the sexual revolution and the divorce epidemic and mass migration, and plunged the country into trillions of dollars of debt in the process.
