There are a lot of great Boomers out there. But they didn't build this country into a superpower. They brought us the sexual revolution and the divorce epidemic and mass migration, and plunged the country into trillions of dollars of debt in the process. They will leave the country much poorer and less stable than it was when they inherited it. That's just a fact.

You are so WRONG! The “Boomer” slander on this app is out of control. They literally built this country into the Global Superpower it is today. They have EARNED every penny of Social Security they PAID for and then some!

They didn’t build shit. They leveraged and borrowed against the post-war era US economy that their parents generation left them. US Debt/GDP was ~25% in the 70s, it’s now 125%. They chose to borrow against future generations to get rich and every time there’s been financial distress of their own making over the past decades they’ve chosen to bail themselves out and kick the can down the road for future generations to deal with. They’re an awful generation, easily the worst of modern history.

You’re an idiot. Who have you been voting for? The same people “Boomers” voted for . You too are the product of a weak mind. You are responsible for yourself. No one owes you anything. Not even an apology. Grow up sad sack.

It’s not boomers, it’s the system. Every boomer was 30 once and said, “when these old fucks die things will be better “. It doesn’t. Blaming boomers is low hanging fruit and disingenuous.

After seeing how boomers utterly disregard their families and the future, I think we owe gen z an apology. They rightly identified they are viewed as tax cattle to be impoverished for the whims of boomers, so opted out. That's the most rational behavior in all of this.

Where in the hell is everybody getting this "boomers destroy" attitude, is this a big city spin on boomers? The rural boomers I grew up with worked their asses off to make something of there lives so they could enjoy retirement and pass on the assets to the kids. I don't know one boomer who doesn't think like this. Sad to think some of them out there are like what some people are describing.......

Matt Walsh doing the divide and conquer thing probably to help preserve his assets. If they come after modest means retirees benefits they paid into and count on, many who were against the asset bubble neoliberal economic policies. Then maybe it will be time to join forces with the Left and go after the ill gotten gains of the investor class who benefited from the bubbles and bailouts and now want to cut benefits of working class retirees. It won’t be just billionaires that get hit with a Socialist agenda.

I'm sorry, but we absolutely DID build the US into a superpower. The Greatest Generation gave us a leg up, but it was Boomers who gave us things like the A-10, the F-16, and Missile Defense... all of which cemented us as a true superpower in a world that wasn't climbing out of the rubble of WWII.

Most boomers got one-shotted by television and cheap credit. Their worldview is comprised of hollow slogans that don’t form a coherent set of values, and they fancy themselves rebellious and radical when, in fact, they’ve been conquered. With that being said, #NotAllBoomers

The whole “blame the boomers” routine is ridiculous. and it’s especially weird watching Republicans join in. You can’t condemn class warfare and racial blame, then blame an entire generation. Whether it’s generational warfare, class warfare, or racial blame, I reject the same thing, treating individuals as guilty because of the group they belong to. Debate the policies. Hold people accountable for their actions, not their birth year, income, or race.

As a 71 year old Boomer, I beg to differ. We did not create the Pill, we did not legalize no fault divorce, we did not legalize abortion, we did not flood the streets with LSD, we did not use music to manipulate minds but we were exposed to and encouraged to use those things by our older generations. We inherited 14% mortgage rates with 1/3 down required before buying, rationed gas, shortages of myriads of things. I sat down and figured out that if the Social Security that was paid in for my husband had been put in a savings account in a bank, there would have been enough money to pay for his SS, as well as his parents and my parents. The first half of the Boomer generation were forced into the military and came home from a brutal, senseless war in Vietnam to ridicule and harassment. And then could often not find jobs because the economy was in terrible shape. Everyone I knew started out their marriage in a trailer, sometimes as small as an 8x30. We had a decent nest egg for retirement, retired on the interest, and then 2008 happened. Lost nearly half of our retirement because of the lowering of interest rates. Please don't tell me how privileged and selfish we are. I lived it.

Unfortunately, I cannot disagree with you. I’m a “late” boomer, at the tail end. I see all the overweight, toddling boomers at the No Kings rallies and wonder why they’re not spending time with their grandkids instead of wasting their time at these useless rallies. Apparently it gives their lives meaning as they promote their own significance. The truth is the things that matter are the things the world has forsaken: God, love of country, and family. It grieves me every single day to think of where we are. The only hope we have is that God will be merciful and that we are not too far gone to be redeemed. (Romans 8:31) If God is for us, who can be against us?

You (and others) keep generalizing about Boomers. It reads like a target list for the unhinged. Stop it. I constantly have people on this app making false assumptions about me simply because of the year I was born. "They" is not me. Nor is it a majority of Boomers.

Christian gay race communism, and support for violent hate groups like Black Lives Matter, Antifa and endless unvetted third world immigration. The destruction of our K - College education system and the introduction of ineffective teaching methodology, discipline codes based on racism, sexism and anarcho-tyranny, predatory loans, lifelong debt.

I’m tired of this shit. I’m tired of you and everyone else blaming boomers for all our woes. My boomer parents worked hard & barely scraped by all their lives, beaten down by the same elites that are grinding the younger generations into the ground. Your enemy isn’t any specific generation, it’s the elites and the political class. Get it right or shut tf up about it and stop blaming old folks, most of which aren’t privileged or greedy despite the current narrative you’re being paid to push.
