i am not the only person who goes through this. i have a lot of mutuals with large followings who reply to bad faith bait because it is EXHAUSTING to be exposed to this all day and just silently tank it.
This is one of the things that really warps people's perceptions in parasocial relationships. From the commenter pov, they're just having a 1-on-1 convo w you. From ur perspective these are literally hundreds, maybe thousands of people pounding you with the same misunderstanding.
