This nonsense I have been hearing must stop. Otafiire didn’t recruit Gisa and Chefe Ali. It is actually Chris Rwakatogoro who helped these two boys to escape from Mbarara High School. They passionately spoke about the need to Join Museveni and fight Idi Amin.
When Gen. Otafiire buried his parents in one grave When Otafiire became Museveni’s ally, he executed underground missions for Fronasa. He, for instance, recruited Fred Rwigyema for Fronasa in 1976. During the course of the NRA war in 1983, Otafiire’s father, Philip Katembeeka, who was not part of the war, died of natural causes in greater Bushenyi. He was buried in Kashenshero in Ruhinda. Otafiire was unable to attend the burial because he was deeply involved in the war. Besides, he was on the list of the most wanted bandits, which was compiled by Obote’s minister of national security, Chris Rwakasisi. DETAILS 👉👉newvision.co.ug/category/peo… #VisionUpdates

Just what is your beef up with the Jenerali exactly? What do you keep making his business your problem. I hope that you will have the going power left in you when it comes to you coming to face-2-face with him across the battle lines.

Whatever you say doesn’t wash away the fact that Otafiire is an NRA General not a UPDF General. The earliest you accept that fact the better for you. Otafiire is not in the league of MK and the other UPDF militants.

There is a difference between AFRONASA and NRA . Emotions or resentment block the normal flow of reasoning you can even miss to see well if you are biased. @DaudiKabanda kindly juxtapose.

When Yoweri Museveni launched the guerrilla war in the Luwero Triangle in February 1981, the NRA desperately needed trusted civilians to build a secret logistical network outside the war zone. Chris Kanya and Ben Rwakatogoro operated this high-risk Kasese-Katwe Axis. Their primary responsibilities included: • Smuggling youth and new recruits out of towns and into the training camps.(this can’t be confused with RECRUITMENT) • Providing safe houses and passing intelligence reports to the guerrillas. • Gathering essential resources like fuel, salt, and money from local businesses (such as Shell Kasese and the Lake Katwe salt works) to sustain the rebellion.

Lastly I unpack the officer confused as Chris Rwakatogoro. The specific historical figure is Chris Kanya, a close political ally who operated right alongside Ben Rwakatogoro in the early 1980s National Resistance Army (NRA) underground networks. Because they were arrested, tortured, and imprisoned together as a single unit by the Milton Obote II regime, memory often fuses them together into the blended name "Chris Rwakatogoro.@DaudiKabanda

If I understand well, people should not believe Gen Otafire on story of Uganda guerira war. Mr Kabanda you want Ugandans and others to be in your story. If this is true , then you want people to confuse 6 to 9. If you don’t get , forget about it . 6 to 9

Their connection was personnel and experience: several former FRONASA fighters later formed part of the PRA/NRA’s experienced core. They were connected movements, but joining FRONASA in 1976 was a separate event from joining the NRA struggle beginning in 1981. That is the distinction relevant to Chefe Ali and Fred Rwigyema.

Daudi Kabanda,I think we should let his comrades still living like the president himself to discount him on what he says rather than us who were born “ yesterday” and diminishing his contribution and discussing him isn’t helping At the strategic level, the debate is better left
