Curious about big ideas, emerging technology, markets, and testing personal limits through ultrarunning and adventure.

Is there a community of people/bots that post these daily now?? Are they trying to get people to buy Treasuries so yields go down lol
If you have $2,000,000, you could invest all of it in the 30 year treasury at 5.62% and earn $112,400 per year without doing a single thing

Curious where all the $SPCX skeptics are lately? Next week will be another validation of the business

Astra is basically AGI. And it is absolutely shocking to me how bottlenecked my life still is. By me. All of the things that are stopping me from moving forward are still only resolvable by me. I have more work than ever

Even if we get some sort of pause on AI development (whatever that even means) the quality of the models now are far beyond what 99% of people can comprehend and are life changing in so many ways #AI is here to stay

When do we get at home blood tests? Seems like should be relatively soon

The amount of noise and BS people create here continues to amaze me. Lots of great things happening but also a TON of noise

Screen time is an easy parenting metric to brag about. Presence is harder. I’m with my 3-year-old constantly: playing, running around, doing life together. Sometimes screens help make that possible. I’d rather be a deeply present dad + some YouTube, than a Dad who's not around often + zero screen time.

Taking some time off from work this week to start a multi-year section hike of the AT. Will be going SOBO for 5 days. Brother is joining. Should be fun!

I’m glad all of these guys exist, the story, the curiosity, the follow through to get real chocolate. So much to learn from the mindsets
We bring you the surprising story of some chocolate gods in Los Angeles. The father of the Xbox - Seamus Blackley - has applied his eccentric set of engineering skills to making the world's best chocolate. And now fine dining chefs and regular humans are fighting to have a taste. We deflected parts of an NDA to get into Blackley's lab and bring you this story. Also here on our YouTube channel - youtube.com/watch?v=VDQBdFsi…

You guys see what's going on, right? For decades and decades, the US government has chased this idea of responsive space. Rockets that can go up on very short notice, ideally from lots of locations, and place satellites over areas of interest and importance. It's been an incredibly hard thing to pull off. SpaceX started chasing this mission in a way but then moved away from the Falcon 1 and focused on Mars. Rocket Lab has very much picked up the mantle. It's putting pads in more and more places. It has two pads in spots rather handy for things happening in or near Taiwan. This is stuff Lockheed and Boeing and others thought about but could not even begin to make happen. Rocket Lab is basically becoming a space prime the likes of which we have never seen before.

What a time to be alive. People keep questioning AI and yet we keep getting facts saying how real it is. The ROI isn't always immediately realizable but there's a lot of value being created. Will be fun to just keep waiting and watching.

If you’re curious and love to learn, there has never been a better time to be alive.

Bugs, heat, deer ticks, humidity you can wear. Summer running here is rarely pretty. You don't need perfect conditions. You need to go anyway, once. The toughness isn't in the weather. It's in not waiting for it.

Say no to good things, or you'll have no room for the great ones. Especially the ones that share your last name. Before you add something, ask what it pushes out. A full calendar isn't a full life.

Work without reflection is just motion. Reflection without work is just daydreaming. You need both, in order. Do the thing. Then spend five minutes on what it taught you. Small reviews beat big resolutions.

One thing to learn to control, is your attitude. You're going to face both horrible and wonderful things in your personal & professional life... And if you can't control your attitude, you'll kill the potential of both.

Ideas are cheap. The rare thing is still working on it in month seven. Don't fall in love with the plan. Fall in love with the next small task. Do one today. Then close the laptop. Come back tomorrow.

Most of my runs aren't fast or far. They're just done. I stopped chasing perfect workouts and started collecting ordinary ones. Lower the bar to something you'll clear daily. Ordinary, repeated, adds up.

Hot take: X is not where you should ONLY come for inspiration and motivation. Get outside and go do shit. Learn and then come back to discuss
