Instead of prosecuting the rioters, the DA went after police who were trying to protect residents (big reason why we see lawless protesters taking over the streets with minimal pushback, police literally cannot do their job without fear of the DA prosecuting them). -City councilman Mike Seigel: DSA-aligned council member, who gave CBS news false information immediately after the shooting of Wilber Perez, stating that he was shot “five times through the windshield”. The information was out for hours, continuing to stoke rising tensions and was later quietly deleted when it was found out to be false. This city is a mess and it’s disgusting that our elected leaders care more about illegals, over the Austin residents who are unsafe everyday.
