Funny thing is, even when I was in Nigeria, I was living fairly well. But after spending some years in the UK and experiencing what a functioning society can actually feel like, it genuinely pains me.
You see systems that work, basic services that function, and a certain quality of life, and you can’t help but ask, why can’t Nigerians have this too? Our politicians come here, see these things firsthand, then go back home and fail to implement them.
Bro, there’s a different way to live. And until you’ve experienced a functioning society abroad, it’s hard to fully understand the difference.
The painful part is knowing Nigerians deserve this too, omo e nor go fit ever better for our leaders and everyone supporting them!!!
