I was attacked by two neighbor dogs that we repeatedly warned the owners about. They would terrorize kids getting off the bus in front of our house, and try to bite them through the chainlink fence.
One day, they got out and starting terrorizing my dog through the fence. I came out to see what was going on, and screamed at them to get away. They started going across the street when I turned around to go back inside.
Suddenly, I felt the dogs attack me, biting my hip and rear, one on each side. I was screaming trying to get away when another neighbor heard me and ran over and scared them down the street.
It took police and Animal Control over an hour to find them and capture them. There are kids all down our street. They also bit another neighbor before me.
Needless to say, they were put down after.
They now have 3 more dogs, years later, but thankfully, they are tiny dogs. I still have some emotional scars.
