Today I did a big mistake while working on a database. No, I did not delete it, but it was close to it. Thanks to the new models, the recovery was easier than what could have taken me days. I got too comfortable and just got an ice bucket of water, but if we don’t break, how do we learn ? What had been your worst experience ?

I'm missing old times where you go to the cyber and play with a bunch of randoms for an hour or two with the old games like Counter-Strike or San Andreas.

I want AI to help me build faster, but I still want to understand what I’m shipping. Otherwise I’m just moving the confusion to a later date.

Day 2.1/ We have made Auto-review free for all users signed in through a ChatGPT account. You can enable it in settings > permissions > auto-review. Auto-review improves upon the default sandbox setting that requires you to approve everything, which is prone to decision fatigue unless you spend a lot of time configuring specific rules. It allows you to run long tasks while having a second agent review all actions taken by the primary agent. Its only goal is to prevent high-risk actions from being taken and to protect against unwanted actions that are not aligned with the original user intent. This Auto-review feature is now free and does not draw usage from your plan.
Day 1/ We have optimized the default speed to be ~50% faster across GPT-6 Astra and GPT-6.1 Sol through the subscription across all our products and partners using Sign in With ChatGPT (including OpenCode, Pi, Amp, Devin, ...). No changes needed on your end and this should be felt within the next two hours.

This felt so weird initially but I'm obsessed with it now. I have 18 threads working here and it doesn't feel claustrophobic anymore. Things appear when they need your attention, and disappear when they don't.
New (beta) T3 Code feature: "Hide threads while working" I have been thinking about adding this to T3 Code for awhile now. Don't like "running work" taking space in my brain. Not sure how I feel just yet but good vibes so far. Try it and lmk how you feel!

I still remember when @steipete released his bot openClaw. The amount of anxiety I felt that moment of beginning left behind was so bad I still remember it. What we see today with Muse, Grok Bot, and Dot is just a reflection of that moment itself.

Imagine beginning flexing on the amount of tokens you have used/expended so far and still having generated 0 revenue for it. (Just for fun, it is also justified.)

I dislike when there is an over expectation and at the end it is just okay.

One of the most compelling parts about working at an ElonCo was the agility to pivot to whatever the most important problem was. One day I said: I wasn’t hired to go after spam, but a tsunami is coming and I’m going to drop everything to focus on that. The org is so flat and agile that your title is basically meaningless. Anyone can sound the alarm about a problem and solve it themselves—or rally the team to join them. This is how startups work but it’s very hard to make it work in a larger company.

Nothing like Friday! Even though I haven't worked in corporate for a couple of years, it still feels like it's finally here! Take care of yourself, touch some grass, and leave the work to your AI assistant.

Also, 6.1 Sol was our fastest-growing model ever, and was a bit slow under load. Should be much better now!

Just imagine a big company criticizing a new technology like @Starlink, then needing it to stay in business. Don't criticize; support new emerging ideas or projects. You never know where they'll end up. People don't look up when you're at the bottom only when you're at the top, and by then it's too late for them.

Honest take on GPT 6.1 Good model, but too slow for my personal preferences. Excellent if you want to keep your tokens for the entire week before they reset it won’t disappoint you.
