tbh, this is the future of software and SAAS.
I was paying almost $300/year for a YouTube research tool that shall go unnamed. The product was getting too complicated so I decided to check if Claude can build the core feature set that I actually needed. Claude built it in 5 min. 🥹

This is correct ;) Animated hands should have 4 fingers (Yes, incl thumb!)
Boston Dynamics unveiled a new hand for Atlas: four fingers, 13 DoF. The team decided not to add a pinky. Elon Musk previously pointed out, while discussing Optimus on a podcast, that losing your pinky would noticeably reduce overall hand dexterity. Boston Dynamics, however, says a fifth finger would mean three more actuators. Its CTO had the team spend a day with their pinky and ring fingers taped together. They decided the extra dexterity wasn’t worth the added bulk, cost and risk of failure. Its four-finger hand already lets Atlas reorient objects in its grasp, recover a slipping grip, and hold tools while pulling their triggers.

How do I say this... You don't want to use AI when you can reduce something to a deterministic solution. What do I mean? You don't want to use AI to fill in fields in loan documents or operating agreements. Instead you want to use AI to build the software that does it for you. And then you don't need the AI tool again for that task. It's a subtle difference, but a really important one.

Here are some of the behind the scenes for the F.02 Decommission To be clear: we actually trained our robots to jump autonomously, shipped them to Finland, and had them leap into a vat of molten steel

I've had my Weber Q100 bbq for 20+ years... 10 years ago the foot rusted, so I printed a small repair part. Finally have to replace the gas burner. I'll be keeping it, it's a great little bbq. No affiliation, just a happy customer. @weberbbquk

Highly recommend to watch the whole thing and pay a special attention to the top-right of the screen.
This may be my best recipe ever. Coming soon.

Introducing Wispr-flow like AI Dictation, BUT using local AI Send messages, Speak ideas into your iPhone, convert your speech to text instantly All done locally, so no cloud involved, giving you unlimited words :) I'm a solo developer trying hard to change the landscape of AI dictation :) 1st round of TestFlight was a SHOUTING success!! Round 2 is open for everyone who missed it Comment below for access↓
I'm going to be real with y'all for a minute, iOS dictation apps only make sense if they're not annoying to use. Clunky. Typos. Slow. Bad keyboard. I'm a solo developer trying hard to make iOS dictation actually fun to use. Since my Mac dictation app got a lot of love on X, I'm sending out a testflight for iOS. Local. Private. Fast. If you're on the search for a good dictation app, comment below for access!

I'm learning LOADS by implementing features in Tourbillon. I'm using qwen3.8-flash-next to chat about my code and design. Take "Grok Bot desktop feature" for example... BrowserUse and Workspace (code execution) are already available to agents - these are well defined tools and features. The biggest aha comes from user participation - e.g. user takeover screen to enter password That's why we need an actual desktop! [qwen and I] we seem to have landed on @kasmweb Workspace Images for the agent desktop... watch this space ;)

Eren, please call me?! I need to know what you were smoking when you got this idea...? Can you imaging the game: - think of the weirdest animals to mate into a new robot form-factor... - ok, tigger and tinkerbell..!! - ha, ha... um, wait. That might actually work.
HopTo’s Hop-1 is a hybrid hopping-and-flying robot built for rough terrain. It looks weird at first, but the logic is actually pretty smart. Flying all the time burns a ton of energy just fighting gravity, so they let the robot spend most of its time bouncing on a passive spring instead. The rotors mainly steer, put back the energy lost on each hop, and only fully take over when the robot actually needs to fly. HopTo says hopping uses around 25% of the energy of continuous flight. So the whole idea is pretty simple: stay on the ground as much as possible, and only fly when you have to.

One effect of AI is to sever enjoyment from admiration. Hitherto, if one took pleasure in a song, a poem, a work of scholarship, one was at the same time appreciating the human talent and ingenuity behind it. Now, encountering some impressive output does not automatically entail admiration, but instead a suspicion about provenance. I find that tragic. I'm realizing now, all too late, how important that emotion of admiration for the brilliance of my fellow man was to my life satisfaction.

If you tried using AI to generate responses to X posts: You start seeing the format everywhere... Quite depressing to see 95% of my feed is AI generated.
