What fresh hypocrisy is this? Bad as child poverty is in Scotland, and despite the clear difficulty of bettering the UK's performance on a block grant, Scotland does, by a good margin. That's the UK which was castigated at the UN in 2025 for failure to act on 30% child poverty. You're simply not getting away with peddling this stuff to us Scots. Here report.

I was honoured to host a memorial for October 7th in the Scottish Parliament this morning.
7th October 2023 was the deadliest day for Jewish people since the holocaust. It is right that Scotland’s national parliament remembers this tragic event.
I would like to remember all those lives lost in 2023, particularly Bernard Cowan from Glasgow.

The Tories by nature are anti-democratic, the Tories have not won a majority in Wales since 1859 and Scotland 1955. In the Senedd they won 10% of the vote, in Holyrood 11%. They have no mandate from 🏴🏴.
This has my wholehearted support. Like the Senedd, Holyrood is in charge of health and education. Outcomes in Wales and Scotland are worse than in England. Kemi is right. Devolve and forget must end. If withdrawing powers would ensure better governance, it must be considered.
