There’s gonna be a point where it’s negligent not to use AI for your client work. Did we hit that point already?

A few years ago, Austin set himself a ridiculous public goal: make $200K in a year as a freelance motion designer. Now he’s raising the stakes with Project $2M: can he build a coaching business that generates $2M a year by 2028 Watch the full conversation here:

piped.video/live/MtuQGj1RM10 My favourite bit was Austin saying that Project 200K gave him a kind of “mask” to wear a persona that he need to live up to. Instead of asking, “Am I worth charging more?” he started asking: “Would a $200K freelancer charge this little?”

That identity shift changed everything. If you’re a freelancer, coach, creative entrepreneur, or just someone trying to build a life around work you actually care about, this is a really honest one.

The Algo showed you this because you do creative things with AI. I’m so bored of the haters and the AI accelerators,so just keep scrolling if Thats you. I want to talk with creative people asking interesting questions. Making exciting things assisted by AI in unexpected ways.

You are my people, the ones who ignore the majority and just do stuff, experiment and have fun. We should talk.

He has a point. And when you think 99% of what you pay for is code and that code is essentially free right now 🤔
You know what really bugs me? We cant own anything. Everything is a subscription....like literally everything. You cant buy Microsoft Office. You have to purchase a subscription for a year. You literally have to pay for everything FOREVER Isn't anyone else bothered by this.

I’m starting to think the 00’s where peak tech, flip phones, social media that was SOCIAL, an iPod device built for the size of your hand. No endless video reels. No WhatsApp group chat. No notifications 24/7 and attention engineering. And we wonder why we feel burnt out?! The

pendulum swung too far it’s time to think about creative optimisation, design your life for flow, joy and creativity. Productivity is DEAD.

The truth is that AI is an accelerant. If you didn’t have a money making vehicle before it going to make you quicker at things that didn’t matter anyway. Automation is a skill and we’re all learning what feels good vs what makes a difference. Scaling things that weren’t

working won’t get results. 9/10 businesses fail because they were working on the wrong thing. Taste, judgment, failing quick and learning are the newest soft skills that matter. Thats how you make money - AI can speed that process up but it won’t make you rich alone.

4.5m views, this hit a nerve! A well-known designer quits because AI can do his job better than he can. Whether you agree we’ve crossed that threshold or not (I do), it's a fact that we will all have to face soon. AI has already surpassed you in the vast majority of areas; it
It’s over. I’m quitting design. A client of mine just created a logo with Fable 5, and the result left me speechless. It understood the brand story, values, audience, strategy, and turned all of it into a smart, minimal symbol. A genuinely brilliant concept. The kind of idea that captures everything at once. Something I honestly don’t think I would have come up with myself. And it didn’t just nail the idea. It executed the design pixel-perfectly. So I raise the white flag. My skepticism about AI’s ability to do great design is officially gone. There, I said it: AI beat me at design. Now that AI finally took my job, I can peacefully quit and dedicate my life to studying the only thing it may never achieve: human consciousness and the pathways to God. Good luck everyone.

Gal´s reaction is the right one, he may argue its acceptance, being realistic, but when it's happening across all areas, just stopping what you're doing isn't a satisfactory solution. Especially when so many creatives get a sense of fulfilment and challenge in the work. I don't

have a satisfactory answer. I don't wish to scaremonger either; the economy will trundle along; designers will continue to design for years, more than likely, but the change is happening, and the uncertainty is anxiety-inducing. Where do you land?

AI forces creatives to be better. Clients don’t know what they want. If they did, they could just prompt it and some will, that’s fine. The job now is to give them the thing they didn’t ask for, while making them feel like they got exactly what they wanted. AI can handle the
