I’m starting to think the 00’s where peak tech, flip phones, social media that was SOCIAL, an iPod device built for the size of your hand. No endless video reels. No WhatsApp group chat. No notifications 24/7 and attention engineering. And we wonder why we feel burnt out?! The

The truth is that AI is an accelerant. If you didn’t have a money making vehicle before it going to make you quicker at things that didn’t matter anyway. Automation is a skill and we’re all learning what feels good vs what makes a difference. Scaling things that weren’t

Here’s my AI inbox. I don’t read them anymore tbh - if I were bothered I’d have AI summarise them. I stopped following the news, now I follow the vibe on X.

We should discuss how bad this slogan is. Apart from making no sense (No, I’m not 26), No one feels part of this sh*t show World Cup 2026. I say that as someone living in Mexico City, host of the opening game. Im sure that when the football kicks off, the ridiculous pricing,

AI anxiety is Bullshit. The future has always been uncertain. No more now than before. If you're feeling trepidatious about what comes next, regulate your nervous system.

I think all the old productivity advice dies in the age of AI agents. Its 100% about working on things that compound and not getting caught up in fun side projects. The gap between people working on the right thing and people spinning their wheels is going to be huge.

Saw this image from a AI creator, there’s a lack of thought gone into it. It’s high level slop - almost right but just wrong. Writing reinforces thinking, writing clarifies thinking, writing is thinking. Speaking is stream of consciousness and it need revision, it needs editing

Its been a tough week for the creative industry for anyone worried about automation. Adobe AI, Blender AI, Claude Design you can now use these tools just by speaking what you want. The creative job has fundamentally changed, production is being taken over by AI. You wont be

I don't really care what people think, I dont correct typos, i dont even wear matching socks. But I do want my ideas to get likes. We're all seeking validation. There's a not-so-secret OS we're all running on. Knowing that is the true cheat code

stuck on a task, don't force the grind. Switch gears. You might find you solve that 10-hour problem in 20 minutes. (Though, as Alejandro notes, know your own brain—some people do need the tunnel vision ). Watch the full podcast: piped.video/N6v8P-YPL58

THis is why "Deep Work" is ruining your productivity. We’re constantly told that the only way to produce great work is to lock ourselves in a room and focus on One. Single. Thing. But @rmadesigntv (the motion design wizard behind Marvel’s Loki) ran a personal A/B test that

There’s a quiet anxiety creatives don’t admit out loud. • The fear of losing our identity. • The fear of not being able to put food on the table. • The feeling of being suspended between excitement and dread as AI reshapes everything we once relied on. There’s a truth...

This "AI vs Brand Designer" post struck a nerve with people. But TBH I felt it was superficial, set up to watch AI fail. It sparked a scary idea... Sure, I get it, we all want to feel unique, special and totally irreplaceable by AI, but what if we flip the script and ask;

Why Trying Something New Is the Cure for ... Burnout doesn’t just steal your energy. It steals your interest. That quiet internal spark — the one that says “ooh, what’s that?” — goes dark. You stop chasing what’s exciting. You stick to what’s safe. You scroll. (1/13)

When I interviewed designer Dave Officer on my podcast, he shared a simple practice that completely changed how I start my day — and I’ve been doing it ever since. He called it 10 ideas every day, ten quiet minutes before screens, before emails, before the world gets a say.

I see this generic sentiment everywhere. I challenge you to do the hard thing, admit that creativity is connecting dots, and AI is very good at that. Start asking how you can leverage AI - because the boat has left the harbour.

AI is causing a lot of anxiety in the creative industry. But if Jevon's principle is true, AI is good for small businesses. You've heard this concept before, but you might not have heard the name Jevon's principle... Joey korenman explains: piped.video/watch?v=0Uxq1IEK…

Today's our 1st wedding anniversary. My dad sent a photo of my grandparents' wedding in 1948. I couldn't help upscaling it with AI.

AI is understandably controversial for creatives, but if you boil creativity down to making the most of the tools available, It can relieve some of the cognitive dissonance. We didn't create AI, we can't stop it, we might not even want it, but can we make use of it? (Dan Koe)

This quote from @thedankoe resonates hard. Creatives don't want to be put in a box, they don't need to niche down. Creativity is multifaceted, and we need variety to thrive.

Don’t believe the AI bros, the future is NOT about curation. Creation still rules. Humans were born to create. It’s satisfaction that no artificial intelligence can replace. You ARE a creative - create.

Society doesn't value design Not in the way they value a mechanic fixing a car. Creatives know this, and it messes with their money mindset. We can end up undercharging or letting our rates stagnate.
