Love that AI has turned a lot of high agency folks with ideas into R & D engineers - > Can I do this with AI? Where is it going wrong? Do I need a better prompt/skill/harness/eval/framework/ruleset/agent brief or completely different approach? How do I fail fast & optimise outcomes? How do I make it once and use it everywhere?

I've decided I agree that AI should be stopped. Its far too easy for me to turn a simple task like writing a resume into a full blown automated customisable intelligence product that results in many days of work and no job applications 😅 (sarcasm folks 😉)

Hey all! Looking for my next challenge in AI / deep tech! I’ve spent the last several years building at the intersection of AI, distributed systems, and developer experience: → Founded Lilypad Network — a permissionless distributed AI compute marketplace (from smart contracts all the way to live GPU nodes running real workloads) → Led Developer Experience for the Filecoin Virtual Machine launch at Protocol Labs / Filecoin Foundation → Built and scaled developer communities + technical storytelling as Lead Developer Advocate at IBM → Shipped production software across Accenture, University of Sydney (ML/IoT), and earlier startup work I’m strongest when the work involves: - Turning frontier AI into products people actually use - 0 → 1 technical product and infrastructure - Developer experience, storytelling, and ecosystem building - Systems thinking across hardware, software, and go-to-market Australia-based. Open to remote or relocation. Full-time or fractional. I’ll be at Token2049 Singapore (7–8 Oct) - would love to meet founders and teams building serious AI infrastructure, agents, or developer platforms while I’m there. If someone comes to mind, an intro would mean a lot. Happy to share more about what I’ve built!

Off to make the watermark removal product then... The watermark is likely based on a similar concept to this paper fyi: arxiv.org/abs/2301.10226 This watermark is not technically robust (don't get me started on ethically ok...) Here's why : Tldr: 1. Paraphrasing kills it -> paraphrase with a second model (or, you know, your own brain 😉) 2. Reverse engineer-able (tag illegal content with AI ->spoofing, OR remove entirely -> scrubbing) 3. Low entropy text can't be watermarked (eg. Code!! , quotes) 4. Watermark detection has non-trivial cost
🚨 JUST IN: Claude models will now have invisible watermarks embedded in ALL text, and ALL metadata attached to files…

Today, I’m announcing the closure of @Lilypad_Tech Lilypad was born from a belief that AI infrastructure should be open, verifiable, and decentralised. Over the past 2 years, we built technology that proved this future is possible, formed partnerships with industry leaders, and brought together a passionate community that believed in the vision of a decentralised, owner-controlled AI future. Despite the progress, we’ve reached the end of our runway. Startups live and die by resources - both human and monetary- and despite every effort to secure the funding & partnerships needed to continue, I’ve made the difficult decision to wind things down. We poured our collective blood, sweat & tears into Lilypad & I’m incredibly proud of what we achieved. I'm also deeply grateful to everyone who supported us - the team, our community, and our advisors and partners. Though Lilypad is closing, the vision of decentralised AI continues to matter more than ever & I'm proud to have worked at the cutting edge of pushing it forward. I remain more convinced than ever that web3's unique capability and crypto rails, alongside an incredible advantage for networking & decentralising systems will offer a business advantage to AI moving forward. This isn’t the end of the story, just the end of this chapter.

Sonoma is the absolutely worst piece of UI I've ever seen. Even Windows 95 did a better UI job. Steve Jobs would be absolutely rolling in his grave. Anyone who had anything to do with this @Apple should be fired. Congrats on your win in the Bad UI Battle, though @Apple ! This Mac is fit to be a doorstop now, I guess.

I've spent a month now trying to have my credits applied to my billing account after google closed a previous account. They then shut down the new billing account over $100 of charges and I have had **no infra critical services** for 2 weeks now. They have provided zero support and keep pushing the problem around to different people instead of simply applying the credits - a less than 30 minute fix - surely. Centralisation is not the future. If you know anyone that can help please tag them. Thanks @googledownunder @GoogleStartups @googlecloud @Google @GoogleAI @googledevs @GoogleWEB3 fehintolu@google.com
