Jacob is correct here—we really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans! I personally think it is >10% within the next decade. I believe Anthropic is trying its best, but we do not yet have a plan to solve alignment for superintelligence and are not clearly on track to.

I have been converted from Claude max plan to OpenAI. Astra is too good at computer use

Hot take for the timeline: the ten-minute game demo is real, but it proves almost nothing. Generating a game, easy in the age of AI. Generating a game someone plays twice, substantially harder.

We tore down GameGPT and built it anew. First product: GameGPT 2D. Around the corner is GameGPT 3D, then Unity and UE. You’ll be hearing a lot more from us soon. Stay tuned. roadmap.gamegpt.gg

Hot take for the timeline: 2026 isn't the year AI games take over. It's the year we get the biggest graveyard of dead AI games in history. Building got free. Being fun didn't. The winners are going to look boring. They validate before they generate.

Enemy behaviour also uses machine learning systems. Instead of predictable patterns, combat encounters feel reactive to the player.

Although there was slight call out of the AI voice acting at launch, 99% of their gamers looked past this bc the game is fun. With time, AI developed games will become more and more accepted. This will lead to a Cambrian explosion in the types of games that can be created. 🎮💥

Tomorrow at 11AM EST, we're hosting an X Space on vibe coding. Building products that resonate beyond features. Aesthetic coherence and cultural alignment determine adoption. Vibe can be designed.

If you want to learn about AI game dev check out @DannyLimanseta’s content. Here’s my own rendition of the example game Danny made. Was able to brush off the dust on cursor with this one!
You’ve probably seen some of the games I’ve been building with AI. I can't code. But with AI's help, I've built 15+ game prototypes in the past 6 months. That process has been eye-opening. It made me realize how fast game creation is evolving and how much easier it’s becoming to turn ideas into playable worlds. So I started Vibeforge, a Patreon where I share everything I’ve learned about using AI to make games: - Step-by-step vibe-coding guides (like this top-down auto-shooter) - Behind-the-scenes devlogs as I experiment with new prototypes - Game boilerplates you can modify for your own projects I’m joined by Aldric Chang, founder of the game studio behind @13z_game, @HellsweeperVR, Sairento VR and Gordian Quest. While I focus on AI-driven experimentation, Aldric will be sharing real-world lessons from traditional game development: design, production, and marketing, bridging both worlds. Whether you’re building your first prototype or dreaming up your next indie project, we welcome you to join us: patreon.com/vibeforge See you on the inside.

🤖 Did it use AI? No. But the question now is, could this have been built with AI? AI can already help with • Art and animation • Coding and testing • Music and sound design • Level and world generation The low-poly art design in Megabonk is entirely possible to generate with AI now.

💡 The bigger picture  Megabonk proves one person can outsell some AAA game titles on release. AI enables indie studios to build better and better games faster and more efficiently than ever before. The next viral hit may not be from company, but from a solo founder + AI.
