Long time no post- we’ve been busy moving house. This is now on our doorstep, the boys approve 🏞️🐶🐶

Dew runs 🍂 🍁 is on its way

25 years ago, they woke up to what they thought would be an ordinary day. Within hours, everything changed. And without hesitation, they went into the rubble. Alongside their handlers, these extraordinary dogs searched through the devastation of 9/11 - hour after hour, day after day, they worked tirelessly to find any survivors of the Twin Towers. Any… Their determination, their loyalty, their diligence and their love - even now, it is incredibly moving. Some would carry the effects of that work for the rest of their lives. Today, every one of those dogs has gone. But what they did must never be forgotten. To the dogs of 9/11, and to the remarkable men and women who worked beside them - we thank you for your service, your courage and your sacrifice. 25 years on - we remember you. We always will. 🇺🇸🐾

Police called after an elderly male went missing on moorland near a ravine. PD Nero arrived and searched a large area in darkness, picking up a track and tracking through very tough terrain where he located the male who had fallen into brambles and bracken and couldn’t get up. 🐶

PD Nero called in to locate a female who left an address with intentions to commit suicide. Nero quickly got a track, through woodland and onto a footpath next to a very busy road where he tracked to waste ground under a flyover, locating the female hiding away having self harmed

After a male decamped from his car and ran from officers, PD Sid wasn’t too far behind and picked up a track from where the offender was last seen. Sid tracked into a garden and over a fence where he located the offender trying to hide. Sid quickly reminded them not to run 💪🏼🐾

A suspect was seen to smash a car window and take things from inside before running off. PD Albert attended and tracked through the Plymouth city streets locating the suspect - who was in possession of items linking him to the offence, along with other suspected stolen items 🐾

PD Sid was called into action after his handler located a stolen vehicle in the early hours. Once the offender realised he was being followed he ran from the vehicle and garden hopped until Sid caught up with him and detained him before he tried to jump a fence! One in custody 🐾

After an assault took place with the offender using a metal pole, PD Rip attended and located the pole used in the offence 👌🏼🐾 @DC_Police

PD Nero called in to locate a person who’s intention was to end their life. Nero tracked through footpaths into woodland, Accross playing fields and through housing estates tracking down someone’s driveway and over a wall, locating the person with injuries, lying under a car 🐶💥

A motorcycle rider ran off following a pursuit. PD Albert tracked to the rider’s home, but the rider had left again- disposing of their clothing before being caught trying to return incognito. PD Albert tracked again, locating the hidden clothing and foiling their cunning plan 🐾

RPT stopped an illegal electric motorbike- the rider didn’t want to hang about so PD Albert deployed & won the garden hopping race. The male was in possession of a 12” knife, cash and drugs. PD Jasper then located in excess of 100 wraps of class A drugs he’d hidden in a garden 🐾

After a vehicle failed to stop for traffic officers, the driver was seen to throw something out of the car window. PD Finni attended the location and located the item which was a sock full of class A drugs. The driver was located and arrested for several offences 🐾 @DC_Police

🔥Lengthy pursuit through South Devon by ARVs of a vehicle who was doing all it could to try & get away including off-roading! Vehicle was stung before the driver decamped but he probably didn’t expect Saka to be right behind & hot on his heels making short work of the chase!🔥

Following a burglary and a car being taken, vehicle later located locked up. PD Rip called into search for disguarded keys. Located keys 🔑 thrown in a nearby garden. Nice work 👌🏼🐾 @Funtimesrip @DC_Police

💥Burglary in Paignton where offenders have been disrupted & victim has given chase catching one of three offenders.... Saka arrives to take over, tracking through streets & into gardens, over & under walls & then through fields before finding the two trying to hide in a hedge!💥
