I’m gonna try to do this as quick as possible in the knowledge that some people just need to be offended and indignant. The Vatican library is a building within Vatican City. In that library there are all kinds of texts, both ancient and more modern. You simply would not believe the incredible things in there. The world’s smallest Quran and the world’s largest Quran are in there. One of the only books of Muslim poetry that survived the Mongol invasion are in there. To get in is a very involved process, only between two and 3000 humans a year are allowed in. Going in and out of the library, even after having been accepted is quite the process. They do this to protect the building and the things in it. Many parts of the Vatican library are sealed because even air can corrupt these texts. Muslim scholars have gone there to study for a very long time. Devout Muslims scholars are required to pray five times a day at fairly specific times. Each time, they would need to leave & go through all of the process of departing the building to do the 5 to 7 minute prayer that they are required to do and then go through the process of re-entering. The process for getting in and out is longer than the prayer time their faith requires them to have At some point, someone opened a small room and told them they could pray in there. It is basic good hospitality. I’m going to be blunt here: many of you have absolutely no idea of what you’re talking about. People have got you all fired up and jacked up over something because neither they nor you understand what the Vatican Library is or how it works. Stop it. Focus on your own sin; I can assure you you have plenty if you’re anything like me. You should fight that battle because at least in that case, you will have some sense of what you’re talking about.

Join me in praying for our sons and our men September 13, 2025 Father, We lift up our sons and the men of this generation before You. You are the Maker of men, the One who formed Adam from the dust and breathed life into him. We ask You now to breathe fresh strength and courage into every man who calls on Your name. Lord, guard their hearts from compromise, their minds from confusion, and their bodies from destruction. In a world that tempts them to trade their birthright for fleeting pleasures, anchor them in Your truth. Let them be like oaks of righteousness, planted by streams of living water, bearing fruit in every season. Raise up in them the spirit of David, who trusted You when the world mocked him. The faith of Daniel, who stood unshaken in Babylon. The resolve of Joshua, who declared, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Make our men warriors who know how to fight on their knees before they ever lift a sword. Protect our sons from the lies that seek to distort manhood. Remind them that true strength is found in humility, that real power is under control, and that leadership begins in service. Teach them to honor women as sisters and daughters of the King. Teach them to be protectors, not predators. We pray for husbands, that they would love their wives as Christ loved the Church. We pray for fathers, that they would not provoke their children to anger but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. We pray for young men, that they would flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace. Lord, clothe our sons and men with the armor of God. Fasten truth around their waist. Guard their hearts with righteousness. Fit their feet with readiness to share the gospel of peace. Place the shield of faith in their hands to extinguish the fiery darts of the enemy. Place on their heads the helmet of salvation and in their grip the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word. And when the day is done, may they be found faithful. May they stand tall, even scarred, but unbroken. May they be known in heaven as men who walked with God. Dear God, RAISE UP MEN! We ask all this in the strong name of Jesus Christ, the Lion and the Lamb, Amen

I’m seeing a lot of people saying they want to start going to church this Sunday but they’re not sure what to do. I think this poster makes great points so I wanted to share.

If you choose your local Catholic parish (my recommendation), you can sit anywhere with your kids and they will stay with you (some protestants ask the kids to go to a separate "kids church"). Simply follow the lead of those in front of you (re: standing, sitting, kneeling), and if you want to go forward during the Eucharist, cross your arms and you'll receive a blessing. Or you can simply sit in the pew and let people go around you. It's common for non-Catholics or Catholics not in a "state of grace" to simply stay seated during the Eucharist. Blessings, wherever you go. Awesome that you are making this choice!

Friends, prayer doesn't magically protect us from suffering. At its core, prayer is raising the mind and heart to God, which is absolutely appropriate in times of deep pain.  foxnews.com/media/minnesota-…

Here’s some Sandhill colt puddle behavior. First a drink, then grasping on to the grass on one side of the puddle, then,….a nice cool sitz bath with its knees and butt soaking.😀

It's not harmless. It's not "just an innocent thing" to be fooled by AI. You NEED to be able to discern and differentiate reality. You NEED to know how the world works on a basic level. Because fooling you with baby animals and flowers is just the start of something much worse.

How to avoid this fate--a brief thread from a (really, verifiably) licensed and insured residential general contractor.
A seemingly reputable roofing company removed my roof, then left and a rainstorm came in and flooded my home doing 80k worth of damage. And it turns out the roofer was not insured or licensed as he claimed to be, and can't pay for it. We are in for a battle and, at the moment, displaced from our home and draining our bank. I'm selling a package of basically every book I have made on a PDF -- you name your price. I feel better about this than donations, but we need help, so if you want a 14 gig zip file of my life's work and want to help my family in this bind, please check out this link on @Gumroad enicolle.gumroad.com/l/narsw…

Hey @Safeway I’m giving you a last chance to respond before we dig in: Your entire system of “discounts” and “specials” requires apps, taking photos, scanning and so many other things that people like my blind mother can’t possibly participate in. By your own advertisements, 1/
