How did they get around our laws banning foreign donations to UK political campaigns? By routing the money through their London office. Open Society Foundation London. A company registered at Companies House. A company of which Alexander Soros is a listed UK director, verified by the British government as recently as 31 May 2026. They used a legal loophole in our own system to inject foreign billionaire money into a campaign to destroy the biggest democratic vote our country has ever held. Best for Britain was investigated by the Electoral Commission. Irregularities were confirmed. The money kept flowing anyway. And they did not even hide it. Open Society Foundations published a press release confirming every penny. They were that confident nothing would happen to them. They were right. THE SOROS MACHINE FUNDS THE OPEN BORDERS LOBBY Now we come to the part that should make every single person in this country who has watched those boats arrive day after day absolutely furious. Open Society Foundations openly declares on its own website that it is "the largest private funder of independent groups working for justice, equity, and human rights." One of its primary and stated funding priorities is migration and asylum. Its own website says it supports "groups that work on a broad range of issues affecting the safety and well-being of migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers." In 2016, George Soros pledged $500 million specifically to migrant and refugee investment programmes. These are not neutral charities helping people in genuine need. These are political advocacy organisations that lobby governments to keep borders open, campaign against deportations, fight every attempt to control who enters our country, and tie the hands of every government that tries to enforce immigration law. In Italy, prosecutors investigated NGOs funded by Soros foundations for operating ships that picked up migrants close to the Libyan coast and transported them to Europe. Danny Tommo has been charged with criminal damage and will appear in court today - the speed of this process is absolutely astonishing. We're told it's in the 'public interest' to pursue criminal proceedings. All individuals are entitled to the same treatment before the law, regardless of what the establishment may think of said individual. STATEMENT about my local resident Del Somerville who pled guilty to violent disorder at a local protest. Firstly I want to say I condemn any violent behaviour towards anyone. It’s never acceptable and never the answer. Del from Paulsgrove in Portsmouth, where I’m the elected Cllr for, has just received a 2 year prison sentence. To be clear he plead guilty. The report states he ‘pushed through a police corden’, and he ‘swore’ and he ‘threw a plastic bottle into the air towards a police line’. Now if you break the law that should have consequences but this is where I have the problem… In handing down the two-year sentence, the judge explicitly stated that the punishment was intended to act as a stark deterrent to others participating in subsequent regional protests. I’m sorry but the law should be applied evenly and fairly. Del being made example of means his sentence is disproportionately worse in comparison to what others would have received in a comparable situation, outside of a protest. That is wrong. We’ve seen violent assault convictions handed out with suspended prison sentences but then this one gets 2 years and is rushed through a process that took a few weeks. We shouldn’t be ‘setting examples to deter others’. We should be applying the law fairly. This is a reminder that if you are attending any protest to always remain calm a peaceful. One slightly poor emotional response can change your life forever. This system isn’t fair and it needs to be. One rule for one, one rule for another. It’s wrong.
