Best believe I’m blasting "Life is a Highway" at maximum volume today in honor of the kid from Radiator Springs. The Hudson Hornet would be so incredibly proud.

Why are we celebrating a groomer??? Have people forgot what he did just because he won a few races 20 years ago?!

Twenty years on, Cars still gets filed as a kids' racing movie. It's a bypass elegy: a town that stopped being on the way, three Piston Cups in a dark garage, neon relit for one customer. Racing is the plot. Being left behind is the mood.

Please tell me we're getting the "live action" version announced soon. Not because it would be good, but because it'd be hilarious to watch them try.
