I got the angriest reply to a cold email today. I emailed a business owner some things that could be improved on his website. He seemed to be a bit upset about the things that I pointed out. He actually built the website himself. I asked him to elaborate on what parts of the feedback were inaccurate. No response. This taught me something valuable about cold-emailing. The lesson is communicating how you can provide value while also protecting the person's value.

Something we teach at Founders and Alpha is that a great product acts like a magnet. It attracts the right customers. And repels the wrong ones. Sometimes aggressively!

I am a 14 y/o who uses technology every single day for my education. Nearly every time I let someone hear that, they think I have a robot on my screen talking me through every subject. At @Alphaschool today, we did our regular 3 hours of academics through learning apps, similar to homeschool programs, but they are backed by AI so we have personalized plans for us made. We then did a heart monitor test, our parents submitted videos giving us feedback, if your heart rate raises by 10% you fail. This was teach us taking feedback shouldn't make our heart race, because being able to take feedback without taking it to heart benefits you a lot when developing a product. We learn what's important, and thats what differentiats us.

I just generated this 3D scene with an open-source local model and it's just as good as the top frontier models. In one very basic prompt it implemented full lighting, effects, models, and surroundings. Open source beat frontier models in cost and capabilities. Except I'm LYING. This scene was generated in one prompt with Claude Sonnet 5, which is NOT a frontier model. In fact, its not even close. People will give misleading benchmarks and tests to hype up new models, but a lot of the time it's just that, hype.

Today, I’m honored to join Andrew Huberman for a deep conversation about how children learn and how we can redesign school around what science makes possible. Just one year ago, I recorded my first podcast with @patrick_oshag on Invest Like the Best. Since then, word of mouth and demand for Alpha School have exploded. We’re now bringing Alpha to 50 communities across the country, each made possible by founding families determined to build a better education for their children.

Day 17/42 Today at Alpha we worked on building a “Brain Lift” instead of just letting AI do the thinking for us. The process is simple: find real facts, summarize them in your own words, make connections, and then build your own point of view from what you learned. AI can help you learn faster, but if it does all the thinking for you, you’re not actually getting smarter. The goal is to use AI as a tool to sharpen your thinking, not replace it.

Motivation can be the difference between accomplishing and failing at something. At @Alphaschool we have 1-on-1 meetings with our guides. In these meetings we set goals, talk about passions, and more. I'm so grateful for my guide!

I spent this week learning that people will electrocute a stranger if someone in a lab coat tells them to. That's the Milgram obedience experiment, and it's one of the wildest studies in social psychology. I went in knowing none of this a week ago. Just took Khan Academy's actual MCAT unit test on it and scored 100%.

"Working hard or hardly working?" — an old guide of mine used to say that, because his dad used to say it to him. That's the kind of connection we build with our guides at @Alphaschool . They're not temporary. They're long-lasting, and they leave a real impact on students' lives.

This clip shows switching when characters are apart, with a GTA 5-style map zoom. Instant swaps occur when together, like in a car. pushsquare.com/news/2026/08/w… svg.com/2246094/gta-6-…
