We’re into part 2 of the face peeling move in interests rates to the upside imo. Not good for r.e - especially in Canada.

Prices falling AND supply falling. What a combo. Even shrinking supply isn’t enough to stop prices from falling. That tells you everything about demand right now.
TRREB stats are out Sales down 9%!! Listings are dropping more than sales, (9-14%) … sellers are giving up or choosing to exit the market because they’re not happy with pricing environment Prices still falling 5%

A shocking number of people on this app don’t seem to understand that the 40-year bond bull market is over. Rates are rising… and they are likely to do so for multiple decades. We are living in a different regime now. Get used to it.

Oil vs yields: Alligator jaws gonna close one way or another.
Second day lower oil fails to pull yields down (in fact the opposite happened). Goldman Delta-One said this is the biggest risk to stocks right now

You guys are all gonna lose your minds when rates are still going up back half of 2027. Feel free to bookmark. It’s not tea leaves.
It's not going to stop until it causes a crisis, is it?

Very possible.
As soon as it will be clear all the data centers that are currently planned will never be built, copper will crash hard in the same way it did in the Dot Com after it became clear there was an over supply of internet cables - feel free to bookmark

Nope.
Bond yields are going to tank over the next couple of months

The only people spending big money on meat are Spanish speaking people. Everyone else is very tight and careful on that. You can’t stop South Americans from eating their meat. They dont give a shit about price.

‘Foreign money’ is really just smart money from abroad. Smart money doesnt do dip buying.
When foreign money floods the housing market, home prices surge When foreign money exits, prices crash If Canada removes the foreign buyer ban on Jan 1, the goal will be to drive prices higher

Canadians seem to get interest rate increases on their radar only after the BOC raises start. No one cares, yet.

An underrated health hack is living in a walkable neighborhood. Walking to get coffee, go to the gym, and go work makes it easy to get steps in without thinking abou it.

Let’s say you want to hit a net worth number. You do. It won’t be enough, because the number you have is compared to your current state of mind and not to you 10 years ago. The psychological and spiritual games, if anything, intensify.
The mind fuck in business and fitness is you get results quickly, a huge spike in “happiness.” But they can’t handle plateaus. A year where “nothing happens” even though you’re significantly better off than when you started.

The good thing about trading? Even if you never profit, you get the deepest spiritual journey of your life. You came for money. You found: Your impulse control issues. Your fear of uncertainty. Your need to be right. Trading said: "Cool, you want money? First fix your ENTIRE personality." Only industry that upgrades your soul before it pays you.

My suggestion to Canada if they truly want to exist as a player of the future. Announce an immediate internal Gold purchase program from own domestic mining production. (Like S Korea just did) Right now it's just being sold to others as their currency & outlook deteriorates.
