How can anyone read Romans 3–5 and come away believing we’re justified by obedience to the law or by our works? Paul couldn’t be clear that we’re justified by faith apart from works. That’s faith alone

False teachings lower the standard. The biblical gospel fulfills the standard. False teachings minimize sin. The biblical gospel exposes sin. False teachings exalt human effort. The biblical gospel exalts Christ.

God looks beyond what people see and cares about what is in our hearts. A heart that truly seeks Him will find peace, even in the middle of uncertainty. Keep your heart close to God and let Him shape who you are. When your heart is focused on Him, you begin to see His presence in the little things around you
