Modern India is not under British imperial rule. It's a democracy.
A few dozen wannabe politicians cannot claim to represent democracy and demand the resignation of a minister millions of people voted for.
This isn't democracy, it's blackmail - playing with people's emotions.
If they want change, getting elected and bringing that change is the democratic way of doing it.
