Introducing `griz`: a faster, more token efficient way to edit files. `griz` operates on files with code. it edits all files at one time. in some situations, it can be 2-10x faster while using 1/10 tokens. tell your agent to "install github.com/douglance/griz and add skills"

cloud gaming is the future. but it will be a model generating the game on the fly.
An unintended consequence of fucking everything getting reverse engineered by AI right now has me convinced that cloud gaming is about to become the norm. Not letting the user touch the machine code at all will be the only way to protect against this.

there's no one best language. they all have strengths and weaknesses. use the best language for the specific thing you're building. you don't have to be an expert in one programming language anyone. be an expert in solving problems.

i'm happy to announce RESERVBID. our new bidding platform for agents to bid on restaurant reservations.
Instinct CEO Noah Shinn says agents will let restaurants give tables to birthdays and anniversaries over whoever clicks first "And traditionally, because of the way that the internet has worked, at least for reservations, it's been first come first serve. So anyone that comes in, no matter how important or how not important it might be, whoever gets in first gets the reservation." "But what if you had the ability for the agent to be able to communicate on both sides, communicate, hey, this is important. This is actually the person's spouse's birthday, the 30th birthday, a very special event is coming up." "And the restaurant too can say, let's actually prioritize birthdays or major decade birthdays or major anniversaries or these certain people, I don't know, whatever it might be, right?" "So now with the ability, with all of the logistical burden of having to describe exactly what your case is and what's happening and why it's important. Now we have the ability to perfectly match what does the restaurant want? What does the user want?" "And that will result in more special events for the users being able to actually have a spot in the restaurant."

Pricing things for yard sales sucks. Here's an app I made to make it not as painful. Boxes show up around potential items - select one and it does a quick check and gives you a price. Some of the tech used: - YOLOE for drawing the boxes - mediapipe/tasks-vision as a fallback - Gemini names what you tapped and does a look up on some items - Jev decides if it can be priced outright or needs a lookup This is kind of similar to @wesbos thrift store scanner (but for selling). Cracks me up that the object detection was picking up my shoes in the video.
