This is completely the wrong way to go about things & the actions of Stand Up to Racism here will likely end up strengthening, not weakening, Restore.
I stood as the Green candidate against Lewis Holmes (the Restore activist in the clip) in a council by-election in Barking last year (when he was in Reform). We both leafleted nearly every home in the ward and I organised a local hustings to which all candidates were invited & at which Lewis spoke. He clearly made a poor impression, & after hearing his policies in full, voters decisively rejected them and he came a distant third. Lewis stood again as an independent in the local elections in Dagenham this year, campaigned even harder & did even worse, with an embarrassingly small amount of votes.
We live in a democracy & that means we have to trust our fellow citizens to listen to policies & arguments & to make the right decision. It is utterly wrong to try & intimidate canvassers from any party in an attempt to stop voters hearing their message & it is almost guaranteed to backfire & end up driving more support & votes to those you are trying to silence.
This is what our team is facing as they try to campaign for Restore Britain in Holborn and St Pancras today.
It is disgraceful.

That's because the Holocaust had nothing to do with anything Jews did. They were murdered for being Jews.

If a private business pays someone to clean their premises, it’s essentially the same as when a public sector body pays that worker to do the same job.
Both private and public sectors create economic value.
It’s only the payment mechanism that differs - private payment vs tax funded expenditure.

People keep saying "Why would Burnham call a snap election on these figures". Because on the current figures he is guaranteed to stay as Prime Minister in some form. Whereas if he waits beyond 2027 there is no guarantee. And he would be calling an election in 2028 anyway. So he is gambling everything for another 10-12 months in power.

There're basically no Budget leaks this time around because they literally have no ideas. Everyone I’ve spoken to says Healey is completely out of his depth. He struggles to keep up with briefings and grasp basic concepts. One of the least-suited Chancellors to hold the office.
