This is Big news: As I have been saying for many months, these protests are planned for regime change. Today, a CIA’s Ford Foundation funded ADR’s lawyer is openly accepting that they want regime change via protests. These people are pawns.

India's message is "Loud and Clear"
Protest is the right of every citizen but brazenly abusing constitutional authorities is deplorable. Congress Party is direction-less now. But they can improve their numbers if they have a matured and committed leader who doesn't enjoy spending 200 holidays in a year!

Here’s what you do when you have the truth on your side. Mamata filed Multiple FIRs against me, interrogated me and my husband for hours and even filed a CID case. I offered no apology. No undertaking. No bond. No application for anticipatory bail. No compromise. I left my home. Sold my business. Moved across the country with my baby. I survived and fought. The court said the FIRs were vindictive and forced the state to either withdraw or face punitive costs. Court asked if I wanted to fight for compensation. I refused. I don’t want blood money. That’s how you fight for the truth, you cowardly anarchist. Add - you signed a bond because you knew you’d be arrested. You knew you had sparked anarchy and violence. You KNOW you are a criminal. The state in your case followed the law. The only criminal and the only coward here, is you.
Modi, as PM, is an embarrassment to India. Never has this country seen a bigger coward and bully.

We have seen the OHCHR’s remarks about today’s events in New Delhi. India is the world’s largest democracy, where the right to peaceful assembly is guaranteed by our Constitution and safeguarded by robust institutions, an independent judiciary and a free media. As in every democracy, Indian citizens exercise this right subject to reasonable restrictions in the interest of public order. The authorities, for their part, act in accordance with the law, and our courts remain available to all for redressal of any grievances. The OHCHR’s concerns are therefore misplaced and constitute an unwarranted interference in the internal affairs of India. In this context, OHCHR would also do well to devote comparable attention to large-scale protests elsewhere, consistent with its mandate of impartiality and non-selectivity. @MEAIndia @IndianDiplomacy @PMOIndia @DrSJaishankar @abagchimea

Loud slogans, selective action! The mask is off the self-proclaimed champions of women's rights and the "Smash the Patriarchy" brigade. Following serious complaints by female students, JNU has terminated Congress MP Angomcha Bimol Akoijam, yet the opposition remains conspicuously silent. Will Rahul Gandhi demand accountability from his own MP and sack him, or is moral outrage reserved only for political convenience?

Rahul Gandhi posts like this and wonders how he lost elections. As per his logic, anyone one wearing Tilak and Saffron is Andhbhakt.
According to Rahul Gandhi’s logic, wearing a tilak and being a proud Hindu makes you a blind believer or an Andhbhakt. Since when did practising your faith become a crime?

A dog used to follow pilgrims to a Hindu religious site in Sri Lanka, and videos of it were shared warmly in Sri Lankan Hindu circles. In late June, offended by the videos, a Muslim man went to the pilgrimage site, located the dog, kicked it, and uploaded the video, sparking outrage. During one such argument, a Sri Lankan Muslim wrote a derogatory post against the Hindu deity. Anojan Sivarasa, a Sri Lankan Hindu working as a laborer in Saudi Arabia, didn't like the comment and responded with a reply that was allegedly derogatory to the Prophet. Anojan's well-wisher immediately warned him. He took down the comment and issued a video apology within five minutes in which he said he was responding to an insult to his faith. However, it was too late. Anojan's fellow Sri Lankan Muslims had already taken a screenshot and emailed it to his employer in Saudi Arabia. His employer promptly reported it to the authorities, who arrested Anojan and put him on trial. He has been sentenced to death. Saudi Arabia rarely reverses a decision once it has made one, but there should be global outrage over this. Blasphemy laws or whatever, the man was only responding to an insult to his faith, deleted the comment, and issued an apology within minutes, yet he will still have to pay with his life while those who provoked him are rejoicing in Sri Lanka. This is unacceptable. Anyone calling themselves a free speech supporter and not opposing this is a hypocrite of the highest order.

Today we remember the 1,200 innocent people murdered by Hamas in the worst attack on Jewish people since the Holocaust. Last year an Islamist attacked a Manchester synagogue. Confronting antisemitism, and standing with Britain's Jewish community, is a duty for all of us.
