Meet MAGAt and convicted child perdator Ryan Scott Schroeder, the registered Republican and former physical education teacher and track coach at Mishicot Middle/High School in Wisconsin. Following a lengthy criminal investigation, Schroeder was convicted for the production of child pornography and the repeated sexual assault of a child. The allegations against Schroeder first came to light after a 13-year-old student courageously reported his inappropriate behavior to school officials. A subsequent investigation revealed a horrific pattern of abuse: Schroeder had engaged in a nearly two-year sexual relationship with a minor student that began in August 2023 when she was just 14 years old (in the eighth grade). Court records show Schroeder admitted to sexually assaulting the victim more than 50 times between 2023 and 2025, including over 10 separate instances directly inside Mishicot High School. Authorities also discovered he had used his phone to record a video of the sexually explicit conduct with the child and had exchanged explicit images with a second underage student. Schroeder's actions finally caught up with him on April 17, 2025, when the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office and the Mishicot Police Department placed him under arrest. Following his arrest, he was booked into the Manitowoc County Jail on a $150,000 cash bail. His double life as a trusted community mentor and family man formally ended in mid-2026, when a federal judge sentenced him to 28 years in prison, to run concurrently with a 20-year state prison sentence. Upon his eventual release, he faces lifetime supervised release and mandatory registration as a sex offender.
