Watched Primetime in theaters. Total embarrassment. Audience audibly turned on it. Lance Oppenheim is definitely a predator, should be blacklisted. Every pedophile was shown sympathetically. Chris Hanson is a 2D megalomaniac cartoon. Tries to make him look worse than pedophiles.
Off the top of my head:
- bizarre Indian mysticism plot about how mob justice is the real monster.
- rabbi pedophile has powerful aura that shocks Chris Hansen by asking him "who gave you the right"
- everything is dramatized and fictionalized as a literal comedy
- perverted justice made out as a bunch of reckless amateurs
- perverted justice falsely accused of enticing pedophiles with sexual comments
- movie ends with gay decoy singing musical to pedophile who kills himself claiming he just wanted a friend

Of course they made this because the game has attractive women, so you need intervention from a Western consulting company for the male gaze.
They are even calling the devs racists and complaining about lack of Latino representation.

Debes esta realmente retrasado para recomendar esta porquería de película como una “adaptación directa de los primeros dos juegos”.
Speaking as a Resident Evil fan, Resident Evil fans have proven they don't deserve rights (truly didn't realize that particular fandom was so dumb, but I guess that's just fandom). But final word on the subject: if you want a direct adaptation of the first 2 games, here u go!

Here's you (the very unbiased Forbes man, of course) TAKING ISSUE with two studios (one of which literally just 5 independent dudes making a game) before the games are even out because you personally disagreed with shit that has nothing to do with the games:
For LOTF2 it was because an article covered that the CEO said the game would have attractive female character designs as an answer to player's question. You called him a loser :D very unbiased.
And for Knight's Path because a Fantasy RPG set in a Medieval Europe inspired setting has a male-only option for the character creation as if that shit was a weird, unnatural choice that is somehow wrong.
Then saying nothing when 1348 Ex Voto released with no character options at all, just stuck playing a female knight (in not even fantasy but an actual medieval Italy setting) Clearly very unbiased mentality there as well.
These are just two recent examples and it doesn't even go into the myriad of opinion pieces that don't do shit in separating Forbes from the rest of biased Games Media even if your outlet is in general more professional about it instead of a complete shit show like for example TheGamer.
This is kind of fascinating. Forbes is ranked as "biased" and "not trusted" because we rank games too...high, I guess? (I didn't write the vast majority of reviews tracked).
It may be useful to gauge critic scores against user scores (though again, there's certainly an industry review bombing problem), though disagreements being labeled "biased" or "untrustworthy" ironically seem like a very biased way to frame this

FFXIV has an utterly terrible rewrite of a localization, so I'm going to be streaming the whole MSQ in Japanese and translating it live so you too can see just how butchered the story, characters, and tone are.
