Completely unbiased analysis of the match:
Wyndham carried the team early and especially on holes where both international players made par, winning four points outright throughout the round with his birdies.
There was a stretch from 10-12 where he was struggling though and Collin was stable, making three pars to maintain the 3UP lead as thankfully none of the international guys made any birdies as well.
Collin did have two key holes where he contributed, alongside the three halves mid round:
- Birdie at 6 to win a hole
- Birdie at 16 to halve and secure the match win
Otherwise, I won't lie and say his performance today was good at all, if he putted out some of the holes and recorded a score it might have been a +1 round or so thru the 16 holes they played. Hopefully can dial it in for the rest of the week. Thankfully all that matters is the win 😂
