That is one way to reduce the population. Make the youth depressed and anxious. Take away meaning. Give them drugs. Drugs make them effectively impotent eunuchs.
When Lauren Friedman showed up at Amherst College, she was surprised to discover that almost every single girl in her dorm and on her athletic team was already taking SSRIs. Inside jokes about Zoloft & Lexapro were common on campus, and everyone seemed deeply grateful their persistent anxiety and depression from teenage years was magically disappearing from a pharmaceutical drug. Like her peers, @lololizzle had struggled earlier in life with both anxiety and depression -- so Zoloft seemed like a perfect solution. After all, all of her friends were taking it too, so how bad could it be? Little did she know, SSRIs are causing a silent epidemic among Gen Zers called Post-SSRI Sexual Dysfunction, or PSSD. Like untold tens of thousands of other people just like her, Lauren now has completely lost her libido, sensation in her genitals, and even a sense of emotional connection with the people around her... PERMANENTLY. She says she and others like her were NEVER given informed consent about the risk of developing PSSD, and American doctors will rarely even diagnose the condition at all. Whether it's birth control being thrown in the faces of teenage girls to magically "regulate your hormones" or Zoloft instantly prescribed to "make you happy," one thing is clear--the young women of Generation Z are being poisoned en masse without any understanding of what may happen to them down the line.

"Reclaiming ownership of your family’s education begins with intentionality and understanding what that responsibility truly entails. The first step to help in your journey of educational ownership is to contemplate the answers to tough questions." Weekend reading? Link in comments.

Education truly begins when one learns simply for the joy of learning.
Why is my daughter a great student? She's a voracious reader. What many students consider boring –reading– she does for fun. Thus, she has an endless imagination and she's a prolific writer. She's not special. She's just highly literate. Teach kids to read.

“But but but unregulated private schools could poorly educate their students!” My friend, have you seen the outcomes of heavily regulated public schools?

"Not too important" has gone from 6% to 29% in about a decade. That is not a rejection of learning. It is families discovering there is more than one path to a good life. The question was never whether education matters. It was whether a single pathway should define it for everyone.
Sending your child to college used to be a big part of the American dream. But a new Gallup survey finds that just 31% of Americans believe a college education is very important. That's nearly 5 points fewer than the 35.7% of Americans who hold a bachelor's degree.

Hofstadter's Law: it always takes longer than you expect, even when you account for Hofstadter's Law.   Public education reform has been "on the way" since before most parents of school-age children were born.   Every generation inherits the same promise: we're working on it, just wait.   The family who builds their own education doesn't wait for the system to be ready; they get started.

Every family has a voice, and some are using it at their school board meetings. 👏♥️ Others are choosing a path where no one has to grant an exception, because the authority stays with them.
It could happen anywhere. My kids forced to take a class with a transgender teacher. When I try to pull them out, the school says, “Sorry! This class is required! Oh, and missing the class is an unexcused absence. So good luck with that.” I’ve seen this one before. Same sheet of music, different lyrics. Masks. Schools know best! Back off, parents! And now it’s repeating in Wake County, NC So a demand was sent to that school board giving them until TODAY to allow parents the ability to opt their kids out without consequence. This should be watched by everyone. Because if this school board tells parents to pound sand, it will give every school board new confidence to further cut parents out of their kids’ lives at school.

Courts can recognize parental authority; they did not create it. In March, the Supreme Court ruled that California policies barring teachers from telling parents about a student's LGBTQ+ identity violated parental rights. It came through the emergency docket, so the bigger question remains open. Districts have direction, not a settled standard.

"Not all children are cut out for public school. Not all are cut out for private school, homeschool, microschool, or a religious school. Let the parents decide." Public financial oversight is at odds with true parental freedom and authority. A parent carries the outcome of their child's education for a lifetime. No one else does.

You don't have to pick, you can opt out. Homeschooling is the future.

How can you NOT believe in God when octopuses dream and otters have a favorite rock they carry around in a little skin pocket and cows have best friends and bees are out there communicating the coordinates of flowers through dancing and they have regional dialects? Cats are purring at frequencies associated with bone healing? Forests get absolutely incinerated and respond by growing flowers? Dolphins literally invent names for themselves and yell them across the ocean? Penguins are waddling around Antarctica looking for the perfect rock to give their partner? CROWS REMEMBER YOUR FACE. THEY TELL OTHER CROWS ABOUT YOU. THEY TELL THEIR CHILDREN ABOUT YOU. YOU CAN HAVE GENERATIONAL BEEF WITH A BIRD. I NEED YOU TO UNDERSTAND THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THIS. Goats have accents. Rats laugh when you tickle them. Elephants mourn their dead. Whales make songs and then OTHER WHALES LEARN THE SONG and suddenly everybody across the ocean is singing the new song. Monarch butterflies are born knowing how to fly thousands of miles to a place they have never been. Sea turtles hatch out of an egg, immediately sprint toward an ocean that they have never seen, disappear into it for like 3 decades and then somehow come back to the same beach they hatched on. Birds can see colors that we humans can’t see. There are colors out there right now that we don’t even get to know about. There are sea slugs that eat algae and use the chloroplast/chlorophyll and then are just like…photosynthesizing. And they’re super adorable. There are mushrooms communicating underground. There are seeds sitting in the dirt for decades like “no actually I will wait. It’s fine.” Squirrels plant trees because they forget where they put their snacks. Relatable. A CATERPILLAR GOES INTO A LITTLE BAG THAT IT CREATES ITSELF AND DISSOLVES MOST OF ITS BODY INTO ORGANIC GOO AND REARRANGES ITSELF, GROWS WINGS AND THEN LEAVES. WHY IS THIS NOT MORE BEAUTIFULLY TERRIFYING TO PEOPLE?? And you’re telling me a tiny acorn knows how to become a huge tree? It just has a blueprint inside itself? Your body started as ONE CELL. ONE. And that cell divided itself into a brain that can think about its own existence and eyes that can look at stars and hands that can hold somebody else’s hands and a heart that runs on electricity without you even asking it to? The iron in our blood was made inside a star?? We are walking around on a wet rock covered in bioluminescent oceans and singing whales and laughing rats and birds holding lifelong grudges and flowers exploding out of fire and somehow we’re supposed to act like this is a normal place to live? We’re supposed to act like this is all just a random, accidental sequence of events?

Well said. My child is mine, not the state's. I take responsibility for my child, and under Labour I want the state as far away as possible from them. It's an attempt to take all responsibility off parents so they rely on the state to raise their kids. It's sinister.

Education independence- independent parents, funding, pursuits, & ideas- WORKS!
I spent 20 years inside the public school system. Now I homeschool my own son. And every year I become more convinced that parents have been sold one of the biggest lies in America: that education requires outsourcing your child to the government for 8.5 hours a day.
