Today at the Texas House Governmental Oversight hearing: Barbers Hill ISD Superintendent Greg Poole (who also serves as Executive Director of the district’s Education Foundation that holds ~$200 million) was asked if any family member works for the investment firm managing that money. He said no. Then lawmakers pointed out his daughter worked at Commerce Street Holdings. When pressed further: “You can ask it three different ways, ma’am. I don’t remember.” Watch.

@ERCOT_ISO ignored the TORA study and instead went all in on the S&P study commissioned by industry. In effect, they googled the study that agreed with their preconceived goals. That’s not science. That’s a rigged game. Fake scientists doing the bidding of big business on the backs of rural Texans.
