January 2027’s general election will be a defining moment for the future of Nigeria. @PeterObi has demonstrated an unprecedented willingness to lead this country towards the long-awaited prosperity we all desire. As citizens and members of the electorate, our duty is to participate actively in the democratic process—by casting our votes and protecting the integrity of those votes through every lawful means available. The future of Nigeria is ultimately in the hands of its people. Let us make our voices count.

@officialABAT The only significant thing your administration has achieved in the past four years is the removal of the fuel subsidy. Every other promise you made before and upon assuming office remains largely unfulfilled. Four years is more than enough time to deliver meaningful results. Nigerians deserve better than excuses, rhetoric, and unfulfilled promises. Failed administration.

Mr president @officialABAT you failed woefully…… Hundreds and thousands of campaign buses, yet our hospitals still lack functioning ambulances and essential medical equipment. I genuinely can’t wrap my head around it.

The West and Asia are in the world to produce engines and develop technology—meanwhile, Nigeria [Africa] seems to be in the world to pray and hold endless revivals. Religion is extremely dangerous to the human psyche.

Institution of Lies. An institution sustained by deception—manufacturing and propagating lies, selling fictional stories, and subjecting its followers to an endless monologue of unverified claims. An institution that extracts people’s hard-earned money by promising them a better life after death, while demanding unquestioning faith in stories that cannot be empirically proven. Some of the most dangerous lies ever told in human history have been propagated through institutions like this—and reinforced through its thick, ancient book. Question everything.

Look at your priest. The highest level of rascality today can be found in the church. What many of them preach is completely different from how they live and what they actually do. Hypocrites! “Priest” — my foot!

Ignorance is a disease…… Poor souls. They are often wretched, haggard, malnourished, poorly dressed, wearing worn-out shoes and living in deplorable conditions. They argue blindly, defend positions they cannot prove, and spend their lives fighting over beliefs they have never critically examined. At the end of the day, many of them gain little or nothing from it. Meanwhile, the people who benefit most from religion are often the priests, pastors, and other clergy, whose congregations contribute money toward their welfare and upkeep. The laity, on the other hand, are often told to endure their struggles in this life with the promise of a better life in heaven after death.

My visit to Balogun Market, Lagos Island — the entire commercial transport system is absolutely disgusting. The way the vehicles load passengers, turn by turn, is frustrating and completely unacceptable. And as for the state of the environment… let’s not even go there. That will be a story for another day.

This is Arena Shopping Complex located at Bolade, Oshodi, Lagos State. It is a major daily shopping center here in Lagos. Despite the daily tolls collected by gatemen from people — especially hawkers — the outrageous shop rents, the IGR, and the numerous unrecorded taxes collected from people moving in and out of the center, just look at how dirty, disgusting, and smelly everywhere is. Still wondering why you were classified as a developing country? This is typical evidence of it.

@PeterObi’s handover notes have been made available for the public to read, scrutinize, and fully comprehend the issues he has consistently raised. This is precisely the kind of transparency, accountability, and responsible leadership Nigeria desperately needs at this critical moment. How many leaders are willing to put their records, decisions, and documented accounts before the public for everyone to examine? This is what leadership should look like: open, transparent, accountable, and unafraid of scrutiny. Peter Obi has once again demonstrated that he is operating on a completely different wavelength. He is indeed different.

When movies were made in their realest form—when India was leading the way. Back in the 1970s and 1980s, movies were watched with one soul. Real characters. Real scenes. Real environments. Real people. Real emotions. Cinematography that felt raw, authentic and deeply human—completely untouched by today’s CGI-driven world. That was cinema. That was storytelling. That was an era. And I am genuinely happy and grateful to have been part of that beautiful era. 🎬❤️

Every patriotic Nigerian should pay close attention to what is happening. There is a sustained political campaign to discredit @PeterObi, and since 2019, his opponents have repeatedly searched for anything they could use to undermine his reputation. Yet, despite years of allegations, attacks and political mudslinging, Nigerians maintain that no credible evidence has emerged to substantiate the case being built against him. What Soludo’s government is doing now will not erase Peter Obi’s record or diminish the political significance he has attained. No amount of political propaganda, distraction or desperate mudslinging can permanently suppress a politician whose supporters believe he represents a fundamentally different approach to governance. Peter Obi has consistently placed transparency, accountability, fiscal responsibility and public service at the centre of his political message. His supporters see in him a leader prepared to challenge the entrenched political culture and pursue a more productive and prosperous Nigeria. So let the attacks continue. Let the propaganda continue. Let the political distractions continue. Nigerians will ultimately make their own judgment at the ballot box in 2027. For millions of Nigerians, Peter Obi remains a serious presidential contender whose record, experience and stated commitment to accountable governance deserve to be judged on their merits—not through political propaganda or character attacks.

“Anambra Govt Still Repaying Loans Taken Under Peter Obi, Willie Obiano – Soludo.” Hoax. Pay attention and listen carefully, and you will begin to understand why these people are unnecessarily attacking @PeterObi simply because he is not one of them—and, more importantly, does not operate like them. Peter Obi is arguably one of Nigeria’s most financially disciplined modern-day politicians. His record in Anambra demonstrated that a government can manage public resources responsibly, prioritise development, and leave a state in a stronger financial position without treating public funds as personal wealth. He places a high premium on competence, accountability, transparency, integrity, fiscal responsibility, and compassion in leadership. That is precisely the kind of leadership Nigerians should demand—not leaders who see public office as an opportunity for personal enrichment.”

“An Open Letter To Nyesom Wike: Your Fear Is Well Founded. Mr. Wike, You have finally said something I can agree with. You told the nation that your biggest fear is President Tinubu losing next year's election, and that whoever wins — Peter Obi or Atiku — will come for you first. You said, in your own words, "I know they will come for my head." Let me assure you, Mr. Wike: your instincts are correct. And let me tell you why. I, Kio Amachree, am doing everything within my power, and using every connection I have, to make certain that the man you have tied your fortunes to never sees a second term. I have written to President Trump. I have written to Secretary Kennedy, with whom my family's history is intertwined. I have written to FBI Director Kash Patel. I have written to the Secretary-General of the United Nations and to the Security Council. I have written to the Prince of Wales, to Boris Johnson, to Lord Cameron — my old school connections put to the service of Nigeria. Every letter says the same thing: examine the record of the man who calls himself President of Nigeria. And what is that record? It is not my invention. It sits in an American federal courthouse. In 1993, the United States government seized $460,000 from accounts linked to Bola Tinubu as proceeds connected to heroin trafficking — Case No. 93 C 4483, Northern District of Illinois. That is not gossip. That is a court record. On August 28, 2026, the FBI confirmed under sworn declaration that it carried out an investigation into his activities. And on that very same day, your principal filed papers fighting to keep those records sealed. Ask yourself the question every Nigerian is now asking, Mr. Wike: who fights this hard to hide files if the files contain nothing? An innocent man demands his records be published. A compromised man hires American lawyers to bury them. You say you think about the President's re-election when you sleep and when you eat. While you were thinking, your principal is spending three weeks on holiday in Europe as the case closed in around him, and no photograph with the American President materialised. The man you serve is fighting a rearguard action in a foreign courtroom, and even his loudest defenders are lowering their voices. You have chained yourself to a sinking anchor and you are only now noticing the water. And a word about Rivers State, Mr. Wike, because this is personal to my family's legacy even if it is not personal to you. My father, Chief Godfrey Kio Jaja Amachree QC, was among the founding fathers of Rivers State — Nigeria's first Solicitor-General, the first African Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations. On his grave and on my ancestors I make you this promise: the accountability that is coming for your principal will not stop at your principal. The emergency rule, the billions, the arrogance — all of it will be examined lawfully, openly, and without fear. Not mob justice. Épuration légale. Courts, records, questions, answers. So yes, Mr. Wike. Be afraid. Not of assassins — nobody wants your head. Be afraid of something far worse for men like you: due process. You wanted a fight. Let's tango. By Kio Amachree Stockholm.” Source - @AloyEjimakor

“Everything has cøllapsed in Nigeria. As of 1959, Nigeria’s National Shipping Line owned 6 vessels; by 1961, they owned 8 vessels, and it kept increasing. But today, they have no vessel. I read today in the newspaper that when Emirates Airlines started in 1985, they started with two leased planes. At that time, Nigeria had over 20 planes. But today, Emirates Airlines has over 280 planes, while Nigeria’s own is now zero. If today you’re critically ill in Nigeria and you go to the hospital, you might likely end up at the mørtuary. That’s why many Nigerians like taking ill people to church instead of hospital.” — Mr. @PeterObi , speaking during a town hall meeting in Rivers State.

Everyone should be extremely wary of this man, especially now that we are deep into another election season. This is not the time to be naive. His antecedents speak loudly, and unfortunately, they are not exactly a record anyone should be proud of. Time and again, he has inserted himself into Nigeria’s political space, only to leave behind controversy, confusion and questions about whose interests he was really serving. We have seen this movie before. We know the script. We know the tactics. And we certainly know what happens whenever the election season approaches and certain voices suddenly become louder from the pulpit. So, Nigerians, keep your eyes wide open. Do not surrender your conscience, your votes or your judgment to anyone hiding political preferences behind the cloak of religion. We have had enough of political theatre disguised as divine revelation. This time, nobody should be fooled. The pulpit is not a political war room, and Nigerians are no longer willing to be treated as gullible pawns. We are watching. We remember. And this time, the usual tricks will not fly.
19
Reverend Mbaka is part and parcel of the political crisis Nigeria is experiencing today. He played his own role in creating the conditions that brought us here. In 2015, he openly declared that god had rejected Goodluck Jonathan and urged Nigerians to support Muhammadu Buhari, whom he portrayed as the divinely chosen instrument of change. He even described Buhari’s victory as a “divine victory” for Nigerians. (DAILY TIMES Nigeria) Then came 2019. Mbaka attacked the Atiku–Obi ticket, warning that the duo would end in shame and even claiming that Peter Obi’s presence on the ticket was responsible for Atiku’s failure. He also complained publicly about Obi not making donations or projects available to his ministry. (National Daily) And in 2023, he resurfaced again with another barrage against @PeterObi, insisting that Obi could never become President and presenting his political pronouncements as revelations from god. (Legit.ng - Nigeria news.) The irony is breathtaking: every time, it is supposedly “god” speaking through him. Yet the political predictions and pronouncements have been remarkably inconsistent over the years. Even academic analysis of Nigerian election prophecies identifies Mbaka’s record as inconsistent, including his inaccurate 2019 prediction. (SciELO) Now, as another election season approaches, I have no doubt that the familiar theatrics will resurface. But this time, Nigerians are watching. There will be no business as usual. We have seen this movie before. We know the actors, the script and the tactics. Anyone who repeatedly mixes the pulpit with partisan politics, presents political preferences as divine revelations, and then expects Nigerians to unquestioningly accept those pronouncements deserves to be challenged. Nigeria needs truth, accountability and responsible leadership—not political prophecies manufactured from the pulpit. Enough of the pulpit banditry.

“65 years after independence, we must be brutally honest with ourselves: What the hell is wrong with Nigeria? No reliable electricity. No decent roads. Millions without jobs. Broken healthcare. Poor education. Insecurity everywhere. Banditry. Corruption. Nepotism. Ethnic politics. Mass poverty. Our leaders steal billions while ordinary Nigerians struggle to afford food, survive insecurity and build a future. And we keep asking God to fix what we refuse to fix ourselves. Look at the Asian Tigers. Many became independent around the same period Nigeria did. They built industries, infrastructure, strong institutions and productive economies. What did we build? A political system where public office can become a shortcut to unimaginable wealth. A country overflowing with churches and prayer houses, but desperately short of factories, reliable power, functional hospitals and productive industries. We are not cursed. We are badly governed. And perhaps the most painful truth is this: Nigeria is not short of brilliant people. We are short of competent institutions, accountable leadership and the political will to build a country that works. I weep for Nigeria. Because too many Nigerians are no longer living. We are merely surviving.” - @Elozona__ 01/09/2026
