I had read the Quint interview when it came out three weeks ago. There were things I agreed with (screenshots), and things I didn’t. Either way, I’d rather the man be free so we can debate these points openly than anonymous dog-whistles while he remains imprisoned within trial.

The protests are against the sale of land to Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law. In other words, the sale of land to a foreign interest - something that cannot conveniently be blamed on Muslims or immigrants.
