Trump encouraged Zelenskyy this week to travel to Moscow to meet with Putin, despite repeated past refusals, as the U.S. tries to reignite Ukraine-Russia peace talks, according to Bloomberg.
Zelenskyy declined the appeal made during their meeting at the UN, and people familiar with his position said Trump raising the issue upset him.

Ukrainian forces launched a major series of long range strikes against Russia yesterday, hitting several locations. Among the locations were the Voronezhsintezkauchuk chemical plant, "Iskra" technological plant, and the Perm oil refinery. The strikes appear successful, with videos of explosions and smoke recorded at all three locations.
The Voronezhsintezkauchuk plant produces synthetic rubber as well as chemicals used in rocket fuel, the "Iskra" plant produces electronics used in Russian missiles and satellites, and the Perm oil refinery is one of the biggest refineries in Russia.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Friday that President Donald J. Trump has made a final decision to grant Ukraine a license to produce Patriot air defense missiles. Zelenskyy said President Trump confirmed the decision during their meeting this week on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York. Zelenskyy previously estimated that launching domestic production in Ukraine would take one to one and a half years once licensing is finalized.
President Trump and I had a meeting where we discussed general matters. After that, our negotiating teams held a separate, long meeting. The agreement is as follows: we will brief the European side and discuss these details with them; the Americans will speak with the Russians; and in ten days, we will come back with views and results in some shape or form.
As for a trilateral Ukraine-U.S.-Russia meeting, the American side proposed preparing it and meeting at the technical level. We are waiting for the United States to propose a date. The United States proposed the United Arab Emirates as the venue for such a meeting.
There are concrete agreements regarding Patriot licenses. At our meeting, President Trump stressed that he had made his final decision: Ukraine will receive licenses to produce Patriot missiles.

The plant,Coates 800 km from Ukraine’s border, manufactures semiconductor components and other electronic parts Russian weapon systems, including Kh-59M2/M2A guided missiles, Pantsir air-defense systems, radars, communication equipment and much more.
The plant belongs to the major Russian air defense and aerospace conglomerate Almaz-Antey which is most famous for air defense systems such S-300, S-400, Buk, Osa and Tor.
This looks like a very costly night for the Russian Army.
