For all of those who are upset by Trump's comment, you're being played by the media...again 🙄
Jim is warning you that Trump and his allies will try to clean up his comments about San Diego and Los Angeles. Well, here is noted Trump Ally, CNN fact checker Daniel Dale providing relevant context to Trump’s comments about San Diego and Los Angeles. The real problem is Jim and his fellow “journalists” turning this into another Charlottesville “Very fine people on both sides” hoax.

🚨 @XavierBecerra political identity theft update: 🔷Becerra’s father, Manuel, was born in Sacramento, California, and was NOT AN IMMIGRANT. 🔷 His mother, María Teresa Schmidt, was born in Guadalajara and entered the U.S. at age 11 in 1943 with her mother, Margarita Schmidt Pérez, and grandmother, María Pérez. 🔷His mother’s side had GERMAN heritage, so Becerra is not of Indigenous Mexican descent. These findings contradict Becerra’s claim during the CNN debate that he is the son of two immigrants who arrived in the U.S. with $12, as well as his accusation that @SteveHiltonx was a racist immigrant because he is of European descent. Thanks @ZeroMalarki for reconstructing Becerra’s family tree from primary records.👍
Replying to @anthonycabassa
We know that is not true. I think it's clear that Manuel Becerra was not an immigrant to the U.S. He was born in Sacramento on July 14, 1928. According to Xavier, his family later moved to Tijuana, but his obituary says he returned to California as a young teenager (15?) and lived with relatives. His 1946 draft registration then places 18-year-old Manuel at 703 4th Street in Sacramento, working as ranch labor, while identifying his father, Heliodoro Becerra, in Tijuana. By the 1950 census, Manuel is again documented in Sacramento, this time living with his Mexican-born parents, Heliodoro and Otilia Becerra, at 298 N. 10th Street. So the records establish Manuel's presence in California years before his 1953 marriage. His mother's story is where it gets especially interesting. Teresa Schmidt is documented entering the U.S. at Nogales on June 13, 1943, at age 11, accompanied by her mother, Margarita Schmidt Pérez. Her grandmother, María Pérez, is identified as the departure contact. I have searched for another border crossing that would support Becerra's statement that his mother came here at 18, and thus far, I haven't found one. Does that prove Teresa lived continuously in the U.S. from 11 onward? No. Absence of another crossing record cannot prove continuous residence. But there are now two pieces of circumstantial evidence pointing in that direction; we have her documented entry at 11 with no subsequent entry yet located, and Becerra himself has said his father was “more immigrant than my mom” because Manuel spoke Spanish ... while his mother spoke English ... @CBSNews. That statement makes considerably more sense if Teresa spent a substantial number of formative years in the U.S. I understand that personally. I come from legal immigrant parents and learned English at eight years old. I can read, write, and speak both languages, but my English is stronger than my Spanish. A child entering at 11 could likewise become highly proficient in English through schooling and everyday life here. Meanwhile, Manuel's documented history runs in the opposite direction: born in Sacramento, taken to Tijuana as a child, educated there through roughly the sixth grade, and then returned to California as a young teenager. His stronger Spanish, therefore, makes perfect sense without turning him into an immigrant. So my working hypothesis is that Teresa may have remained in the U.S. for at least a substantial portion of the period after her documented 1943 entry at age 11. I have not located another entry for her, although school records, city directories, or other contemporary evidence would be needed to conclusively establish continuous residence. There is another piece of the family history worth mentioning. Teresa Schmidt's maternal grandfather was Hermann Schmidt, from Berlin, Germany, identified in the Mexican civil record as a mechanical engineer. Her mother was Margarita Schmidt Pérez, and Margarita's 17-year-old brother, José Schmidt, appears as a witness to her marriage. This is a documented German branch of Becerra's ancestry, not speculation based merely upon the surname. That makes something Becerra said during the gubernatorial debate particularly interesting. Speaking directly to @SteveHiltonx, he said: “You seem to welcome immigrants who look like you, but deport immigrants who look like me.” @CNN My question is: what exactly does “immigrants who look like me” mean genealogically? Becerra was born in Sacramento. His father, Manuel, was also born in Sacramento. His mother was born in Mexico, but her documented ancestry includes the Schmidt family and a grandfather from Berlin. None of that makes Becerra any less Mexican-American, but neither does “Mexican” automatically mean Indigenous. If Becerra was referring broadly to Latino appearance or to how Latino Americans may be perceived during immigration enforcement, that's a political argument he can make. But if he was implying something about his own Indigenous ancestry, that's a genealogical proposition, and I'd like to see the genealogy. So far, the records we've uncovered tell a considerably more complicated Mexican-German-American story than the simplified public narrative suggests. And that's what makes the original story so puzzling. The real family history is compelling enough: an American-born father, raised partly in Mexico, who returned to California as a teenager and worked farm, railroad, and construction jobs, and a Mexican-born mother whom we can document entering the U.S. at 11. There is no genealogical need to turn that into a simpler story of “two immigrants” arriving here to marry.

That’s about 20 Epstein whistleblowers who have now ‘died by suicide’. Absolutely nothing suspicious about that at all…
Former British banker and whistleblower Simon Andriesz, 57, has died by suicide. Andriesz had exposed U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick’s past links to Jeffrey Epstein, including evidence of a 2018 email exchange about a start-up business. Source: The Banker

Simon has been found dead, reportedly from "suicide." RIP to Simon and to all whistleblowers who have died too young. The truth about Lutnick will never die
I am the British whistleblower who reported evidence concerning Howard Lutnick, his links to Jeffrey Epstein, and Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC to the FBI in 2020–21. Listen to the BBC File on 4 documentary about my whistleblower story: bbc.com/audio/play/m002yx47 BBC News: bbc.com/news/articles/c9q28d… I later shared evidence with the House Oversight Committee, which subsequently questioned Lutnick behind closed doors. My disclosures also contributed to regulatory action in the US and UK, including a £96m HMRC tax assessment relating to BGC’s partnership scheme. I believe the true tax exposure is substantially higher. I also reported to the FBI and financial regulators matters involving Cantor Fitzgerald’s Relief Fund and BGC/Cantor’s annual 9/11 Charity Day. The personal consequences of whistleblowing, and the retaliation I say followed, have been devastating for my family and me. Mother Jones previously reported that documents I uncovered revealed a years-long business tie between Howard Lutnick, Cantor Fitzgerald and Jeffrey Epstein through AdFin, including a 2018 exchange in which Lutnick and Epstein discussed the company directly: motherjones.com/politics/202… motherjones.com/politics/202… Follow me here on X and on LinkedIn. I intend to share more of the evidence and the story behind what happened.

My husband and I went through the McDonald’s drive-thru, and our total was $4.25. I gave the cashier a $5 bill plus a quarter. She looked at me, confused, and said, “You gave me too much.” I said, “I know. This way, you can just give me a dollar back.” She sighed and called the manager over. He asked me to explain what I was trying to do, so I told him the same thing. He handed the quarter back and said, “Sorry, we can’t do that.” Then the cashier gave me 75 cents in change. Moral of the story: Never make the math too complicated at McDonald’s.

Ted Kaczynski walked into Harvard at 16, on a scholarship, a prodigy of his time. That's when professor Henry Murray recruited him for a study. Before Harvard, Murray had designed interrogation methods for the OSS in WWII. That's the agency that became the CIA. The premise of the project was simple. Each student was told to write down his deepest beliefs. They were promised a calm discussion about it with another student afterward. That was a lie. Instead they strapped Ted into a chair under bright lights, wired him to electrodes, and sent in a man trained to do one thing: rip every belief he'd just written to shreds. They mocked and humiliated him. They attacked everything he loved and kept at it until he shook with rage. And it went even deeper, they filmed his face the whole time, then played the footage back to him, again and again, so he could watch himself break. That went on for three years. Two decades later, Ted Kaczynski was the Unabomber. People say it had nothing to do with the experiments. But didn't it? What normal person survives three years of psychological torture? The CIA burned most of their MK-Ultra files in 1973. And when a writer finally dug into Murray's study, Harvard sealed those records too. The Facts are… Kaczynski entered Harvard in 1958 at age 16 on a scholarship. He was a mathematics prodigy. From roughly 1959 to 1962 he took part in a study run by psychologist Henry A. Murray (often called the “Murray Experiment” or part of the “Multiform Assessments of Personality Development Among Gifted College Men”). Murray had worked for the OSS during World War II on personality assessment and interrogation-related techniques. The OSS was a predecessor of the CIA. This is public record. Participants were asked to write detailed accounts of their personal philosophy and values. They were then subjected to what Murray’s own notes described as aggressive, hostile interrogation by a skilled adversary who attacked those beliefs. Sessions were filmed; some accounts describe bright lights and physiological monitoring. The confrontations were designed to produce strong emotional reactions (anger, humiliation, distress). The study lasted years for some subjects, including Kaczynski. Kaczynski later became the Unabomber (mail bombs 1978–1995). His manifesto and writings show intense anti-technology, anti-industrial views that developed over decades, including after he left Harvard, lived as a hermit, and experienced additional personal and ideological radicalization. web.archive.org/web/20141024… utterlyinteresting.com/post/… history.com/articles/what-ha… aetv.com/articles/professor-… biography.com/crime/a7383691…
