Solana went back to school in a big way. We kicked off a couple of global education and university initiatives in the past week. The first is Solana School Fall Class, the spiritual and literal sequel to Solana Summer School. We had 1100+ students apply from 130+ countries. We accepted 500 into the program and had 250 join live for the first class yesterday 🤯 We also launched the Solana University Ambassador Program, which provides two undergrad leads from selected campuses with the resources and support to build and run an on-campus Solana community with workshops, build nights, DevRel office hours, perks, and a demo day. We received over 300 applications from current students (the application requires two unique recorded videos, so this is pretty wild). Big shoutout to @andrescorreia, @decentra1ized_, @harkl_, and the @SolanaFndn DevRel team for making this happen. The kids are gonna be okay, and they’re gonna be building on Solana!
