In 1975 I decided to hitchhike to Antarctica. I only made it as far as Argentina, where I fell in love with a handsome guerrilla. Soon I became a target in the Dirty War. I had to escape, but my passport was a death sentence and the military was closing in on us . #A #mem #PitMad

Genocide in Ukraine The Russians and Americans are blocking the United Nations and the Red Cross from evacuating Oleshky residents to the city of Kherson. Russian occupation forces will be taking the hostages to a filtration camp (concentration camp) in Russia instead.

The @UN’s “settler violence” statistics are even more fraudulent than you'd imagine. @RegavimEng audited UN OCHA’s data and found: • In its review of the 8,333 "settler violence" incidents listed, 95% either did not involve settlers, did not involve violence, or did not occur in Judea and Samaria. • Of 59 Palestinian deaths attributed to Israeli CIVILIANS, 26 were actually instances in which the Palestinian initiated violence and was then killed in self-defense, and 24 were actually killed by the IDF. • After accounting for unidentified perpetrators, pending cases and even a terrorist who died crashing his own car while fleeing, just ONE case remained a verified, unprovoked killing by an Israeli civilian. • OCHA counted peaceful Jewish visits to the Temple Mount, schoolchildren visiting archaeological sites, traffic accidents, infrastructure work, and even an Arab laborer bitten by a Jewish-owned dog, as “settler violence.” • 1,755 OCHA incidents relied on a single source. Another 565 had no identifiable source at all. These are the statistics used by governments, journalists and international organizations to depict Judea and Samaria as the scene of a Jewish campaign of terror and to justify oppressive sanctions against ordinary Israelis. The “settler-violence epidemic” is a psyop. Cc @BrianOSheaSPI @naomirwolf @DailyClout

On this day—October 28, 1917 31 years before the modern State of Israel and months before even Balfour, The Sun reported “Terror in Palestine”: 300 Jews deported from Jerusalem, 8,000 Jaffa Jews evicted with houses looted, two Yemeni Jews hanged at the entrance to Tel Aviv. Ottoman governor Jamal Pasha ordered the mass expulsion of the Jews of Jaffa and Tel Aviv. Thousands were expelled with little or nothing. Many died from exposure, disease, and starvation. Properties were looted. Witnesses described hangings and bodies left in the dunes. There was no “occupation,” no “settlements,” no Netanyahu, not even a State of Israel. Still, Jews in the Land were driven from their homes and killed. So what's the conflict really about?

On this day—October 25, 1929 The Shaw Commission arrived in Jerusalem to investigate Arab massacres of Jews across Mandate Palestine. This was two decades before Israel’s independence. Arabs had killed 133 Jews brutally with axes, knives, and clubs in places like Jerusalem, Hebron, and Safed. Homes were looted, synagogues were destroyed, and survivors were raped and mutilated. The massacres were ongoing. There were another 57 Arab attacks against Jews as the Commission sat. The Grand Mufti later invoked the Protocols of the Elders of Zion and compared himself to Jesus, claiming Jews had denounced him. The Commission found the Arab attacks on Jews were driven by hostility to Jews in general and the notion of Jewish sovereignty anywhere in the Land. This was the conclusion before there were any “settlements,” “occupation,” or even a State of Israel.

Having run a medical practice reimbursed at just 90% of Medicare rates, I have a hard time believing MGB's restructuring is primarily a reimbursement problem. Its flagship hospitals have historically commanded commercial inpatient rates nearly twice Medicare. When you're generating $22.8 billion in annual operating revenue and barely breaking even, it's fair to question the competence of the people managing that money. At some point, this becomes a management problem, not a reimbursement problem.
MGB's last round of layoffs focused on administrative roles. Now the health system is looking to restructure clinical departments. bizjournals.com/boston/news/…

Why do your college professors leave out the part where the Arabs used starvation as a method of war against the Jews in 1948 to murder or expel them from Jerusalem? The Arabs sealed the Jewish Quarter, cut off their water supply, and attacked every supply convoy attempting to bring food and water. Rations ran out, and the Old City was surrendered on May 28.

This Forbes investigation is a must-read. Donald Trump pulled in roughly $1.4 billion from crypto in 2025, plus more than $200 million from real estate, and faced a projected tax bill north of $500 million. So his company donated the "development rights" to his Jupiter, Florida golf course to a land trust, argued the course was a natural habitat worth protecting, and kept right on running the club. Forbes estimates the write-off could land around $825 million. He has done this at least five times since 2005. New York's attorney general alleged two of those appraisals were inflated. In Doral, he claimed a deduction of up to $323 million, more than double what he paid for the entire resort. A month after the Jupiter deal, he sued the IRS. The settlement his own Justice Department signed bars claims against him over matters that "could be pending," language that appears broad enough to cover this year's taxes. A federal judge found the case was brought to manipulate the judicial process. And the man now running the IRS, who took the job as this deal was being assembled, has a home backing onto those same Jupiter fairways. This is absolutely ridiculous. Nobody should be able to use the presidency to write his own tax bill. forbes.com/sites/danalexande…

I've now catalogued 5,300 confirmed Gaza combatants killed by name, mostly from Hamas & PIJ's own martyr notices, and closing in on 6,000. Analysis & results in process. The evidence documents systematic military use of hospitals, schools, etc. and other human shield practices.

Everyone in tech is panicking about security right now. But outside of it, almost nobody knows anything is wrong. I wrote this so you don’t have to be the one explaining it to your family. Just send them this.

I have to admire the way Jonathan makes clear what’s at stake here. For him, and most of the pro-Palestine supporters it’s about bringing down Western civilisation. Israel is simply one battle in that larger project. That honesty has to be at least admired. Know your enemy, as Carl Schmitt might say. Slightly dishonest of him to claim that evil exists in all of us, yet deny/ignore it among Hamas and the Palestinians more generally. Although often denied, what’s hidden deep within all postcolonial/decolonial approaches is a romanticised myth of the “noble savage”.
There was a deeper reason why the film NAZA left the entire audience speechless. This film isn’t about the tangible, visible horror of Gaza. It was about something more hidden, something far closer to home. This was about the horror lurking within each of us. What the German-Jewish philosopher Hannah Arendt called “the banality of evil”. We were stunned, I think, by the realisation that the 24 Israelis up on the screen – each of whom admitted, often dispassionately, sometimes a little proudly, carrying out the most monstrous of crimes – could have been our son or daughter, our brother or sister. The only reason to applaud, as happened at the Venice Film Festival, it seemed to me, was to drown out the still, small voice of one’s conscience asking, “Might I have done as they did? Might my children?” NAZA is a gut punch not because it tells us anything we did not already know or suspect about Israel and Gaza. The enclave’s Palestinian journalists showed us daily the evidence of the genocide, before each was picked off by Israel’s AI machinery – in the largest slaughter of media personnel ever recorded. No, the film tells us something far more shaming. It tells us who we are. It tells us exactly what the pillars of our western “civilisation” stand on. Today’s western privileges were built on a long history of naked, racist colonialism – of greed, of pillage, of slavery, of genocide – that we have never truly renounced or forsaken. Israel continues that tradition for us, both in sharpening colonialism’s technical efficiency with endless, murderous experimentation on a captive Palestinian population and in obscuring our own complicity in this barbarity. That is the reason why it was so effortless for our leaders to collude in Israel’s genocide: to supply the bombs, to pass on the intelligence, to provide the diplomatic cover, to excuse the “excesses”, to crush the protests. NAZA silences us not because of the monstrosity of what Israel did but because it serves as irrefutable proof of our own monstrosity. Our societies watched it all and did nothing. We are all guilty. This is an extract from my latest article NAZA is not just about Israel and Gaza. It’s about the evil lurking in us all. Find a link to the rest in the reply post below ⬇️
