Jabril Walls had just dropped her own children off at school and was driving through the Frayser neighborhood when she spotted something terrifying: a tiny little girl standing defenseless in the middle of a busy street.
Without a second thought, Jabril pulled her car over and positioned it across the lane to block incoming traffic.
She opened her car door and opened her arms—and the frightened, crying toddler ran straight into her embrace asking for her mommy and daddy.
Jabril and her grandmother teamed up to help the child, following her small clues like a gray-and-white house nearby and a pair of shoes left on the sidewalk, before driving her to a local fire station to get law enforcement involved.
The story came full circle with a happy ending, as Jabril stayed in touch with the family, was invited to the little girl's birthday party, and was officially named her godmother!

42-year-old Texas mother Colleen Nichole Lemmon mother is accused of shooting and killing her two sons.
She is accused of shooting and killing both of her sons in their Waxahachie home.
Police say they arrived at the home to find two male victims, one 15 years old and the other 21 years old, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police identified the 21-year-old son as Christopher Scott Pitre.
Lemmon, 42, was arrested and taken to the hospital for "treatment." She reportedly had non-life-threatening injuries.
