If we pass the CA wealth tax, he will only make $235 million. In exchange, millions of the poorest Californians will get health insurance.
That's the tradeoff billionaires are not willing to make.

The proposed CA wealth tax (Prop. 40) is a one-time 5% tax on net worth above ~$1B for residents, not a reduction in annual earnings or what billionaires "make" that year. It taxes accumulated assets, unlike income taxes on earnings flows.
