There is literally an Agents of Shield episode that is canon to Avengers Age of Ultron. The Avengers would have literally died if the Agents of Shield didn't provide them with backup. so I don't care what Marvel thinks. Agents of Shield is canon.
Like yall aren’t about to Gaslight me don’t irritate me Marvel

Plus an episode during the aftermath of Thor 2, the episodes on the aftermath of winter soldier. To name a few times it was very interconnected

We got robbed of an Agents of SHIELD season during the 5 Year snap! Would have loved to have seen a full season set in the midway point and how the world tried to get a handle on the situation. But nah, time travel and alt universe instead.

Agents of shield would keep me invested in the mcu if they brought it back. It’s the first mcu show that crawled so all these other shows could walk

This is the case in AoS continuity. It's not the case in MCU continuity (at least for now). That scene in Age of Ultron would've played out the same way if AoS was cancelled mid season. No one would be wondering how Nick Fury had access to a hellcarrier

Dude im like one of aos biggest fans, but yall gotta let it go, accept it, Marvel movies department did not care one bit about AOS once Infinity War came up. LET IT GO

The ones saying it's not canon were subjected to TAHITI btw so let's just be considerate of them. They don't know anything. It's not their fault. 🤷🏻‍♂️

with guest appearances by Nick Fury and Sif?? Yup. Agreed. It always bugged me that the Avengers were never told that Colson was still alive...😾

The ENTIRE relevance AoS had to the MCU was explaining how Fury got that helicarrier..... something that didn't need explaining AT ALL This is your big gotcha 🤣🤣🤣

Shield isn’t canon after the Daisy vs Graviton guy and the timeline splits. The snap doesn’t happen on shield

Fyi if it's only canon from one sides perspective that's not canon that's fanon. Me personally I watched the whole first season and I hated the show. But to me if you believe it's canon go ahead. But that means the horrible inhumans show and fantastic is too

It's canon to the MCU 616 to a point then it branches off into it's own timeline.

the show references the canon of the movies, the movies ignore all events of the show and even contradicts it (the depiction of the Darkhold, for example)

But by the same token, when they couldn't have the Agents actually show up on screen for a few moments....it kind of permanently broke the illusion.

People don’t argue that. People argue that even if you didn’t watch Agent of sheild (my fav marvel show btw) is that nothing would change. Fury’s line of “a couple old friends” can mean literally anyone to those who haven’t seen AoS, it’s not a good enough connection either

Good for you. But those characters in AoS will never be mentioned & appear in the MCU. Ppl can think whatever they want. That’s fine. This isn’t like the SnyderVerse discord. There’s no light at the end of tunnel for AoS. Might still get Inhumans but not the way it was in AoS.

I fully consider AoS to be 'canon' in Marvel movie universe, and I think most viewers would, too!

It all started in S1 w a tie in to #WinterSoldier He made them change the trajectory of S1. Try as he may, Feige can't deny the show's legacy. By not making it canon, he's doing just that. Without AOS (no matter w network it was on) it started the Marvel Television phenomenon.

I think Seasons 1-5 are canon. Seasons 6 and 7 suffer from not spoiling Infinity War/Endgame, so I pretend those are non-canon.
