Exclusive: Asylum seekers are being told “men and women are equal” in the UK amid mounting fears over integration and cultural values.
The Home Office has issued new guidance to arrivals telling them “this means women can work, study, travel and make their own choices”.
They also detail what rape is under UK law in a new booklet: "Consent is needed in every situation. This means even if you are married or in a relationship with someone, they must consent to sex every time.
"If you have sex with someone without their consent, this is called rape. Rape is a serious crime in the UK. You could go to prison, lose your support and accommodation, and it will affect your asylum claim."

New: A migrant left an injured child and climbed onto a Channel dinghy as the stricken youngster was rescued by lifeboat personnel.
The man carried the terrified tot through the waves to a waiting boat on the same day as 781 people crossed.
After a wave crashes into the small child near Equihen beach, south of Boulogne-sur-Mer, the migrant continues pushing towards the boat, which was already packed with asylum seekers.
A wave then carries the vessel into the pair, and the dazed child starts floating on top of the water. French lifeboat crews rushed through the water, lifting the terrified child onto a rescue paddleboard.
But the man shockingly turns away and tries to climb onto the dinghy.

New: Andy Burnham's migrant nightmare has intensified after 781 people crossed the Channel in 10 boats on Wednesday.
The record number of small boat arrivals this year comes in the same week Border Force missed two dinghies.
It will heap pressure on ministers as they desperately try to convince people the borders are secure.
The Home Secretary launched an "urgent review" as officials confirmed at least 21 asylum seekers arrived in Samphire Hoe on Tuesday.
Others are feared to be on the run, with the Home Office carrying out a “thorough investigation”.
And at least five migrants were detected at The Warren, a rocky stretch of coast near Folkestone, on Monday.

I can’t stop watching this. That poor child.
As for the actions of the “father”, it’s impossible not to be unspeakably angry.
Abandoning your child who is in danger. Is there anything worse that a parent can do?
A child left behind, injured in the water, while his father gets onto the boat and leaves French lifeguards to save him.
What kind of father does that?
Crashing waves. Chaos. A child struggling in the water, while his own father boards the boat rather than staying to protect him.
I believe scenes like this expose the failures surrounding these crossings, from the charities involved, to the actions of the French authorities, to the decisions being made by the British Government.
People are becoming increasingly angry about what they are seeing.
I genuinely fear that if confidence in the authorities continues to collapse, some people will eventually try to take matters into their own hands.
To be absolutely clear, I am not condoning, encouraging or supporting violence in any way, shape or form.

Absolutely extraordinary comment from Education Secretary Lucy Powell on the media round this morning: "(You) can’t stop everything all of the time.
“Of course, it’s a concern. That’s why the Home Secretary has demanded and ordered this urgent review because this is not what we want to see. This is not acceptable."
For a long time, every boat was being intercepted. Before this week, there had been one incident since 2023.

Some 1,200 migrants are feared to have reached the UK this week alone, with 150 arriving on Monday, 154 on Tuesday and a staggering 900 attempting the crossing on Wednesday, according to @markwhiteTV.
But the latest uncontrolled landings have sparked fears that Border Force are being overwhelmed by migrant smuggling gangs, who are now seemingly dodging law enforcement vessels and surveillance planes and drones in the Channel.
Home Office insiders had hoped the days of migrants landing on the beaches undetected were “long gone”.
@CPhilpOfficial said: “Yesterday was a day of despair for the Labour Government. Our border security has descended into chaos with illegal immigrants crossing at will over ever larger distances and in ever larger boats.
“This latest fiasco shows that the French are not even trying to stop the illegal immigrants’ boats in French waters, instead they are escorting them here.
“What’s more, there have been two uncontrolled migrant landings in a week. It is a complete free for all – the Labour Government have no idea who is coming into the country."

New: Home Secretary @ShabanaMahmood responds to the two migrant dinghies reaching Kent undetected.
She's ordered a review into the mayhem.
But she says tonight: "This was not acceptable. Our improved monitoring has led to uncontrolled crossings becoming incredibly rare.
"But even one is one too many. That is why I have ordered an urgent review by the Border Security Command into how this happened, and what must be done to ensure it doesn't happen again.
"The new tactics adopted by the smugglers, like launches from much further west in France, are a reminder of two things.
"Firstly, these gangs have no regard for human life. They are putting people on increasingly long and dangerous crossings.
"Secondly, our efforts are having an impact. We are making it much harder for gangs to launch vessels, forcing them to change their approach, and as a result we are significantly reducing the numbers coming here by small boat."
