When people talk about "500 trucks a day" before 10/7, they're including all the cement that went into Hamas' tunnels. FIFTY PERCENT of the daily trucks were commercial construction materials—not humanitarian aid. Don't move the goalposts.

🚨Still if you just talk about FOOD truck count per day, it has to be around 233 trucks per day if you want to match the pre-conflict number. But as per your last post the average FOOD truck getting into Gaza through 2 crossings is just 88 per day, which is significantly lower than what used to be. Now you add the desperation, starvation and dehydration of 1.5 mil people currently in Gaza, that number is very very low to feed that many people. As per the above data 60% of truck (9315 of 15856) trucks are of food so following the same proportionality the total original food trucks before oct. 7 should be 60% which ia closer to 2/3 which should be 233 food trucks rather than 1/5 i.e. 88 food trucks which what we are getting right now.

Gaza produced a great deal of its own food. Israel has destroyed all that. Gaza was *exporting* 400 trucks/day of food before the blockade. The need for inbound trucks is much greater than Oct 6. This is 2022: agroecologynow.com/gazas-foo…
