One of the coolest thing about my time here on Twitter has been meeting my moots. Last weekend I had the opportunity to meet a few more and @RealitySalesman was kind enough to come bearing gifts. I’m still at a loss for words on this one. This cranial is absolutely awesome, a work of art. Thank you again sir and it was an absolute pleasure to meet you. Here’s it’s current display status. I wanted to place it with the 143 Diecast Tomcat but I just don’t have the room. I’ll redo my shelves at some point and make it happen. Now the question is do I print a matching stand for my Tomcat Demo Team helmet? Other gifts from some very notable and cool people such as @RSE_VB @kentLeNdYs @F111Driver @BlacklionCTA and @aircrewtv call these shelves home as well. Meet your moots folks! And thank you again @RealitySalesman !

We went to war into an asymmetric battlefield where our enemy wore no uniforms and obeyed no laws of armed conflict. We operated under international rules. Geneva conventions. Laws written to provide clarity to soldiers. A decade or more AFTER our return the rules were changed by our own government to make it easier to charge us with a war crime. The rules we operated under are now not the rules we will be judged under. Be like taking Hannibal to court today. It just doesn’t sit right with me nor is it remotely fair.
War crime allegations Afghanistan The government needs to p#$$ or get off the pot. Decades have passed. Soldiers have killed themselves. Others have had charges dropped after a decade of being accused. This is abusive behaviour.

A Tomahawk can sit sealed inside its launch canister for years. Its jet engine has never run, and its flight battery isn't sitting there permanently charged. When the missile is finally selected, the ship supplies power, loads the mission details and wakes up a machine designed around the assumption that almost everything has to work correctly the first time. Then it changes character completely. A dormant lithium thermal battery activates, and a Mk 135 booster burns roughly 146 kg of solid propellant to throw the 1.5 tonne launch package out of the ship. Within a few seconds the wings are out, the booster is gone and a tiny Williams F415 turbofan has taken over. Once running, even the battery is no longer needed, a generator driven by the engine powers the missile's electronics. The F415 produces only about 650 lb of thrust. That sounds nowhere near enough for something this heavy, but the engine isn't carrying the Tomahawk. At cruise speed its small wings generate the lift, the turbofan only has to replace the drag. Roughly 500 kg of dense JP-10 fuel gives it the endurance to keep doing this for more than 1,000 km while flying extremely low. Tomahawk has also kept getting smarter without changing that basic architecture. Modern versions can be retargeted after launch, loiter, and even send back an image from an area they pass over. More than 2,300 have been fired in combat since 1991. That may explain its longevity better than any specification. America has spent four decades upgrading the electronics, navigation and payloads inside Tomahawk because the machine underneath still works just fine. With those upgrades, it remains one of the most capable weapons in the subsonic cruise missile class.

You were branched as a Finance officer and later became a public affairs officer. In the Reserves. Your highest award is a DMSM. Look, as a career logistics officer myself I always preach one team, one fight, but not when someone like you--who is supported by the cretinous, Soros-funded, "VoteVets"--crawls out of the Deep State slime to smear actual combat veterans like Hegseth. Pete Hegseth's pinky finger knows more about leading troops in wartime than your DSA sell-out brain will ever comprehend, and the closest your pinky ever got to heroism is a paper cut. So how about you put a sock in it, you DEI-installed, Commie faux-general? Beat it.
I say this as a retired Brigadier General with 30 years of service: Pete Hegseth is an unqualified frat boy.

🤯The AIB dropped on the 3 Dec 2025 Thunderbirds F-16 crash near Trona. F-16CM 92-3881, F100-PW-229. Three variable vanes in the 4th and 5th compressor stages were turned. That created irregular airflow and high-cycle fatigue on the 5th and 6th stage blades. Both blades separated in flight. Engine came apart at low altitude. With thrust gone the pilot ran the checklist. CAPS, SEC, air restart attempt. Fought it for 4 minutes 21 seconds. Ejected at 467 feet AGL, 151 knots, and walked away with minor injuries. $33.5 million jet destroyed on the lakebed. No one else was hurt. Board cleared the pilot and the maintainers. Everything they were required to inspect, they inspected. The problem sits in a section you cannot see without pulling the engine and splitting the rear compressor case. Borescope ports skip those stages. Same family of vane issue showed up in another F-16 just 20 months earlier. The part people will remember is the spectacular camera footage of the ejection. The part they should remember is that some failure modes live in places field-level maintenance was never designed to look.🇺🇸 Image credits: @usairforce #F16 #Thunderbirds #AIB #USAF
