CHINESE NATIONALS SENTENCED IN CALIFORNIA APPLE FRAUD CASE Two Chinese nationals — one an illegal alien — were sentenced to prison for leading a scheme to defraud Apple Inc. of at least $16.2 million by fraudulently “returning” thousands of counterfeit iPhones, iPads and other Apple devices. Ringleader and illegal alien Wenhui Huang was sentenced to 78 months and ordered to pay $16,239,254 in restitution following the @HSILosAngeles probe with its @IRS_CI, @USPS and @LAPDHQ partners. The group’s second-in-command, Yang Song, 39, got a 57-month sentence and was ordered to pay $16,997,415 restitution.
