One of the ex-players on MLB.com was talking Mets last night and said they should be sellers at the trade deadline. Maybe so. But he also said they should look to move Pete Alonso. In the words of longtime Mets fan John McEnroe, "you CANNOT be serious." Would be the dumbest move since the evil M. Donald Grant traded Tom Seaver.

I am so disappointed in my beloved Mets. I have gone to a few games and they lost all of them. They are flat showing little life and summer is just arriving. They have the highest payroll in BB and by season's end could have rookies starting and the cheapest payroll, what a mess.
