Sad!! Leafs could have easily been 3 and 0 to start the year and now we got this shit to deal with. Not the start we all expected!! Don’t wanna hear Leafs hit 7 goal posts in two games?? Just win and sick of excuses!! Big boys gotta score!!

The Leafs have 7M of temp Cap space right now. Can we call up Wood and give him a shot? Send down MacEwan or Groulx, doesn’t matter to me. If you can get the 4th line going you’ve got 3/4 and just gotta figure out L2.

Yes I agree!! Was thinking same thing, it’s time for Wood call up. I’m sure he’s better than Roslovic.

Evan Bouchard currently has more points (8) than Easton Cowan, William Nylander, John Tavares, Kirill Marchenko, Auston Matthews, Gavin McKenna, and Darren Raddysh combined (7).

Now let’s do Goals Against for Oilers? How many combined and given up? More than the whole league combined? 🍺

I've already seen enough of Simon Benoit.

What are the odds of a 3-way trade with Carolina and Winnipeg where: Toronto Gets: Nikishin ($8.5m contract) Winnipeg Gets: Danford + Akthyamov + picks Carolina Gets: Hellebuyck, Rielly ($1.5m retained)

You don’t trade your top goalie prospect with a 38 year as your starter and a back up who is always injured every year. Not a good idea here!!

McKenna-Matthews-Marchenko Cowan-Roslovic-Nylander Paul-Tavares-Sissons I bet eventually that becomes your top 3 lines. Don’t know how long it will take

What if they try Marner-Minten-Knies on the 2nd line?

Appreciate the correction, Andrew. Dave was my stunt double. Glad we finally met. I’ll try to be better too. #WeAreGoldStar!

Thoughts on having two very very good power plays instead of stacking one? Or would u rather a stack pp1? Raddysh Nylander - Roslivic - Matthews Tavares Oel Marchenko - Cowan - Mckenna Paul

Ivar Stenberg just put tremendous pressure on Gavin McKenna and the clock is ticking

Ivar Stenberg's preseason dominance has put immense pressure on Gavin McKenna as the Maple Leafs youngster needs to now prove that he's the NHL's top rookie.

Lmao!! We will only know in the next 10-15 years who the better player was?? An exhibition hat trick doesn’t define a career. Get a grip here!!
21
Lost in translation? Let’s not do that. Vladdy did earn his contract. He’s a young superstar who’s going to have a fantastic career and retire as a Blue Jay and HOF player like his dad. That said, as someone that has said silly things in my past 😯, this is not him at his best.

@JoeyVotto would you ever consider being the Blue Jays manager?
215
Former @Sportsnet analyst Gregg Zaun nailed the #BlueJays main problem, and it’s Vladdy’s caddy, John Schneider. Check this out. His read on the 2026 #BlueJays50 is spot on.

Id hire Greg Zaun as a manager in a heartbeat. He’s honest, fair and direct. Most importantly know’s baseball. Vladdy has been pampered all year and Schneider didn’t even drop him in lineup as a wake up call. It’s nice to be nice but sometimes you have to set feelings aside.

Have to say that @AirCanada automated call-in service is absolutely comical, except that you need it to do something with your flight… I'm not sure it could be less helpful

I’m a Leaf fan, however this was an incredible speech from Rod. He spoke from the heart and is dialled in from day 1. That is what it takes to win in this league. Treat players like family, he’s honest and direct.
