Open winners that aren’t lottery tickets. $TSLA up about 5% to $371 486,532 delivered. Street wanted 462k. Still down 2% from last year. They just cleared inventory and beat every estimate on the sheet. Stock doesn’t care about the year-ago number this morning. $SYNA +14% Deal flipped to all cash. $123 a share. $5.7 billion. Someone else showed up with a bid, so onsemi had to pay in dollars instead of stock. $MSTR +5% $CRCL +5% Crypto names catching the same bid as the Nasdaq. Yields slipped. That’s the whole move. $NVDA tagged a new high. Not a story. Just the index doing what it does when the 10-year backs off. $NKE is the other side. Down about 10%. Sales missed. Guide was worse.

I called 484k Tesla $TSLA deliveries this morning before the market open; we got 486k. Pretty accurate. Tesla is undervalued at the moment given their potential and the products they are working on. It’s going to dawn on everyone soon enough

Nike just reminded everyone the consumer isn’t the AI trade. $11.2 billion in sales. Street wanted $11.35. Down 5% from last year even after you strip the currency. They beat the penny. The guide is what killed it. Stock down about 10% to $32. Sneakers don’t care that payrolls came in soft. They care that people stopped reordering.

Sold puts into the open. 10 $CIFR Nov 20 $13 puts @ $0.97 Collected $970 Cash $13,000 Assigned basis $12.03 10 $SOFI Nov 20 $15 puts @ $0.82 Collected $820 Cash $15,000 Assigned basis $14.18 $1,790. Both under $20. Both I’d own at those prices. Jobs took the hike odds down. I’m still selling the dip I actually want. Not chasing the green open.

Jobs just printed. Soft. 29k payrolls. Street wanted around 90k. Unemployment ticked to 4.2%. Wages barely moved. Futures ripped on it. $QQQ leading. 10-year slipped off that 5.2% high. Oil also gave it up. WTI back under $90. Brent under $100. That’s the whole morning. Not a recession print. Late Labor Day probably messed with the number. Market doesn’t care. It just needed a reason to not price another hike in October. Cooler PCE Wednesday, soft jobs Friday. That’s the pair. Don’t marry it. If oil bounces back over $100 into the close, this bid dies. If crude stays soft, tech keeps the day. $MU already told you memory demand is real. Today’s tape is about yields, not chips. Jobs Friday is the last data before the weekend. Let the open settle before you invent a trade. $TSLA reported Q3 delivery numbers and it’s a big beat ~486k

Both I’d own at those prices. Credit is smaller than last week. Cash is smaller too. That’s the trade when the 10-year is living over 5.2%.

Accenture just answered the question every software and services bear has been asking. If AI eats the work, who still pays Accenture? Clients, apparently. Revenue up 6%. Profit up 46% in the quarter. Julie Sweet basically said the AI work is bigger than the AI savings. I’m not buying a consulting firm at 15 times because of one print. But the “AI kills the middleman” trade just had a bad morning.

$MU did the thing everyone asked for. $54.2 billion in the quarter. Street wanted about $51. $33.42 a share. Street wanted about $31.60. Next quarter they guided $60 to $63 billion. Street was at $57. Backlog $150 billion. Stock is down about 2% to $1,046. That’s not a miss. That’s a stock that already tripled and ran out of people left to surprise. Margins dipped a hair on the guide. That’s the excuse. The real one is the chart was full.

Today’s actual winners, not the penny lottery. $ACN +18% to about $217 Beat $3.29 on $18.7 billion. Bookings $22 billion. Street had this thing priced like AI was about to fire the consultants. One quarter of “clients still paying us” and it ripped the biggest day it’s ever had. $FICO +12% to about $664 That’s the bounce after yesterday’s 26% gutting. Still nowhere near where it was. The monopoly story is broken. The stock just stopped falling for a day. $SNPS +10% Investor day. Chip-design software catching a bid while memory gets sold. $COHR +10% to about $320 Bernstein started it at outperform. PhotonLink is the headline. $LITE rode the same trade, up about 7%. $MU is not on this list. It beat. It’s red. That’s the tell.

RECAP OF THE STOCK MARKET TODAY Quarter ended mixed. PCE helped. Bonds didn’t. $SPY faded into the close, down about 0.3%. Dow worse, almost 0.9%. $QQQ actually finished green. That’s the whole tape. Inflation print was friendlier. The 10-year didn’t care and sat near another high. Morning bid died. Core PCE came in at 3.0%. Cooler than they wanted. October hike odds got cut. Spending was still strong. So the economy isn’t falling apart. Inflation just wasn’t as ugly as Monday priced. Then yields stayed ugly anyway and the S&P gave the morning back. Worst month since June. $MU reported after the bell. Beat big. Revenue $54B, EPS $33.42. Guided Q1 sales $60–63B, way over the number. Cloud memory still ripping. After-hours shrugged a little because they’re spending even more next year. Fat print, higher capex. Market already knew memory was tight. Wanted the guide. Got it. Didn’t explode. Jobs Friday. That’s the last shoe. If payrolls are soft, this cooler PCE actually matters and $QQQ can keep leaking. If jobs are hot, 5.2% yields come back and Wednesday was just a pause. Oil stayed out of the way today. That’s why the print even got a bid. Don’t need a new story tonight. Need Friday not to wreck it.

$MU talks after the bell. Street wants another beat-and-raise. Options are pricing something like a 7–8% swing. I’m not buying the close. Last few prints they beat and the stock still picked a direction at random the next morning. Watch HBM commentary. That’s the part that hits $SNDK, $AVGO, and every power name sitting next to a rack.

Quiet green day. A few names actually did something. $BA is up after landing the Pentagon’s next fighter. Twenty billion. $NOC got the other side of that trade. $HPE jumped after they raised networking guidance and booked a Vultr order for AMD racks. Boring company. Real order. $FORM ripped after Deutsche initiated at $200. Chip-tool names always wake up the day memory reports. $HOOD is bid again. Weekend trading plus those AI agents from last night. People are still arguing if that’s genius or a lawsuit. $MU is green into the print. That’s not a winner. That’s people standing in line.

Both I’d own at those prices. Cool inflation print. Tight labor. That’s a market that still pays you to wait.

They just tried to kill a 30-year monopoly in one press release. Fannie and Freddie are letting VantageScore sit next to FICO on the same mortgage grid. Rocket already said they’ll use it. $FICO dropped 26% yesterday. Still leaking today. If you have a mortgage, this is the government saying one company doesn’t get to charge rent on every loan forever. If you own the stock, that’s the whole thesis getting a haircut.

PCE came in cool. 3.4% instead of 3.7%. That’s why stocks are green. ADP was 90k. Labor isn’t the problem. Yields barely moved. 10-year still over 5.2%. Last day of the month. Nasdaq trying to finish September green. Dow is still going to print a red month. Oil faded. That’s the only reason this bounce exists.
